What to expect

John is from Morris County, NJ and has been performing music since the age of 13. His parents bought him his first
bass guitar, redirecting his original desire to play the drums.
He quickly learned to play all the music he could from stars of the day like The Beatles, The Temptations, The
Allman Brothers, and many others. As a young man he played with several other musicians from his high school and
neighboring towns in a number of bands. After his school years, he seized an opportunity to perform with the
touring band of The Box Tops. This band traveled throughout the US and Canada.
During this period John realized that he was a born performer, and began to expand his musical talents, especially
his singing. Throughout the coming years, John played in several bands, and honed his talents as both a bass player
and singer. While he always dabbled in guitar and even piano, it wasn’t until the pandemic that John fully embraced
playing guitar. He began with an acoustic guitar and held Facebook live sessions to entertain family and friends
weekly. That led to many song requests, which expanded his repertoire.
Fast forward to today, and John has added electric guitar, playing both acoustic and electric. His voice, a natural
baritone, has range up to first tenor. He's been performing his one-man-band shows to many happy fans. He is
especially known for his ability to engage audiences from multiple generations. John is constantly polishing his
craft, and adding new songs to his over 1000 song catalog.
