What to expect

I perform original songs that most if not all can relate to .. melodic guitar and vocals.
Very similar to what you would see with Aaron Lewis/Stained or any artist that sits down for an up close and personal experience of life through their music~

About

John Jouett is an American born musician who performed original music in clubs like The Long Branch Tavern, Stone Pony, The Court Tavern, Club Bene' in New Jersey and CBGB's in New York City. His first band in New Jersey was part of the alternative underground music scene that spawned such groups as Smashing Pumpkins and Monster Magnet. In time John gravitated a bit more into the alternative hard rock scene which is where he found his niche and developed the sound of his modern day music. In his music career he has played the keyboards, been a lead vocalist and now rhythm guitar has found its home in his heart as his instrument of choice. Although never achieving a "record deal" or recording contract to date, John has opened up for some National Acts in New Jersey and here. Acts like Zebra, Trixter, April Wine, Leslie West, and played along side Smashing Pumpkins and Monster Magnet before their rise in popularity while playing the Court Tavern in New Brunswick, New Jersey. John is set to come out with his first full length record early 2016 which is compiled of original songs of alternative rock, hard classic rock, and features two songs on 12 string acoustic as well..John's music can be found on Youtube videos, older releases on (link hidden) including a few instrumentals, and John Jouett on Facebook with a website set to open January 2016 preceding the new record release @ (link hidden) Expectations are above normal with the special guests who plan to contribute to several songs featured on his new releases. Follow John and his music on facebook or Youtube to stay up to date with scheduled performances and music releases as well as who will be collaborating with him on the new record. A memorable local appearance was December 4 3015 at the Gillioz Theatre on the Syndicated Television show "The Mystery Hour" in which he performed his original song "No Future in the Past"
