May 25, 2018I hired Joey for my parent’s surprise 40th anniversary party. He could not have been better or easier to work with. His music selection was perfect for a wide variety of ages. He accommodated every song request easily. He was friendly and respectful. And of course, his voice and guitar skills will top notch. I got compliments from all the guests for finding him! For my entire life, music has been my one true love. I had my first solo in church at the age of three, and had my first guitar lesson at seven. From that point, I've only grown to love it more... Sharing my music with others is my absolute favorite thing to do. I play by ear, and I play on the fly; by that, I mean I will play whatever my audience wants to hear -- as long as I've heard it, I'll give it a shot. I got my experience doing that in my time at Charlie Murdoch's Dueling Piano Bar, where I played and sang every Friday and Saturday for almost a year (from August 2016 until May 2017, upon its closing). Currently, I am a full time student at the University of Pittsburgh, coming in on my final semester... After graduation, I plan on doing one thing: pursuing my passion as far as I can.
