Joey Boone was born and raised in Holly Spring, MS where he grew up playing mini concerts in the back of his parent’s jewelry store. At the age of sixteen, Joey recorded his first album and was fortunate enough to work on the project with the legendary Jordanaires. In the nineties, Joey began making a weekly trek to Nashville to hone his writing skills with such greats as Bobby Wood (In Another’s Eyes – Garth Brooks), Bobby Emmons (Luckenbach, TX – Waylon Jennings), and Johnny Christopher (Always On My Mind – Willie Nelson). In 1997, Joey married his wife Diane and moved to Nashville to pursue his music career. They have two daughters, Tollie (21) and Millie (17).

Over the last twenty years Joey has continued to write and work on music. In 2000, he recorded a self produced live album and in 2015 released an album with the acoustic /vocal group Yes Dear.

In the Spring of 2019 Joey began a full time music ministry providing music to area senior living facilities. You can also catch Joey playing other various venues around the Nashville area as well as private house concerts, weddings, and corporate events..
