Joe Ennis

Joe Ennis is a twenty seven year old musician born and living in Nashville, TN. His primary instrument is the drum set but he also engineers, produces, and writes all genres of music. He has played drums in several original bands and has performed and recorded numerous projects. Joe began playing the drums when he was six years old. At age twelve he began a long span of drum lessons that would take him into his mid twenties. Most notably he has studied under some of the greats including Derico Watson, Chester Thompson, Tommy Giampietro, Chris Coleman, Marcus Finney and others. By the time he was seventeen he had played with Johnny Neal, Jeff Coffin, and held down a regular jazz gig at (link hidden)otts Restaurant in Nashville. In 2008 Joe took a year off college to tour with sub-ID on the Sound Tribe Sector 9 tour and then the Pnuma Trio tour. After the tour he went back to Belmont University and graduated in 2011 with a music business and audio engineering degree.

Joe has started a few original projects since then such as Shake the Forest and his own beats under the alias FonneP. In addition to original projects, he free-lances as a drummer for both live shows and for recording sessions. He has been recording his own and other artists material since he was a teenager and overtime has built a home studio and continues to record various projects.
