Jill Broughton

In addition to singing/speaking at Women's and Senior's meetings, Jill is available to lead worship for a Sunday service, and for special music for weddings, funerals, Camp meetings, and other events. She has had the opportunity to speak or be involved musically at Churches and Camps of various denominations - Baptist, Pentecostal, Presbyterian, Salvation Army, and United.

As requested or appropriate to the setting, meetings include an audience sing-along (hymns, familiar Church favourites, choruses) and solos by Jill. Each message is tailored to fit the theme, the audience and the allotted time.

A specific theme for your group or meeting can be requested (seasonal, for women/ Mother's/Senior's, devotional).

~ Mother's Day/Women's retreat - women of the Bible, the Proverbs 31 woman, three wise women (can be adapted for a mixed audience, at any time of the year)

~ Count your blessings - a Thanksgiving message

~ A variety of Christmas themes, all relating to Jesus' birth - the 12 days of Christmas, the characters of Christmas (from history and the Biblical story), Christmas around the world, Christmas carol/song backgrounds and Christmas traditions, three wise women, December 25 historical events.

Jill Broughton has been involved in music from a young age. She has participated vocally in Church choirs, ensembles and special music, as well as leading and participating in worship services both in Ontario and B.C.

Jill has graduated from both Eastern and Western Pentecostal Bible Colleges (now Master’s College and Seminary, and Summit Pacific College), earning a Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a Church Music major. She was the Music Director of 2 Ontario Churches for 5 years, and the Director of a Music Academy for 3 years.

Currently Jill teaches piano and voice out of her home in Cambridge.
She enjoys speaking/singing at Women's and Senior's Church events, in Canada, US and overseas.

As a soloist I don't require special lighting or stage setup.

I have my own equipment which includes - keyboard, mic and mic stand, amp, cables. If a venue has their own piano or keyboard and sound system, I am pleased to use that.
