Nacido en México de una familia musical, el cantautor Jesús Enriquez comenzó su carrera como cantante a los 12 años cantando baladas y boleros tradicionales. En 1990 se mudó a Chicago donde conoció la Salsa y al escuchar el éxito "Devorame Otra vez" se inspiró en una aventura de Salsa que impulsaría su carrera profesional por todas partes. En el 1994, se convirtió en el primer mexicano en firmar contrato discográfico-con el sello RMM, hogar de las leyendas de la salsa, Celia Cruz, Tito Puente y Oscar D' Leon...
