About

Jessi Rose is a young woman with big dreams who began singing as a child and has since become known for her powerhouse ballad vocals and raw, soul-stirring performances.

“Jess has a powerful, strong, and very moving voice. She feels and grasps the tone and mood of every song, blending it all beautifully. From covering hits by popular artists across genres to writing her own deeply personal songs, Jess’s talent is undeniable. Her music is raw and relatable, singing about real-life struggles and the power to rise above it all.”
– Kristiana Iaconis

Some of Jessi’s Career Highlights include performing at renowned venues like The Paramount (Huntington, NY), Mohegan Sun Arena, The Chance Theatre, and Ridgefield Playhouse. Grammy Award-winning songwriter Sam Hollander personally chose Jessi to open a medley of his chart-topping songs (Panic! At The Disco, Big Time Rush, Train, and more) at the Ridgefield Theatre Barn Platform Showcase Fundraiser Event. She has also given many radio interviews and got featured in the Amazon bestselling book Music Of The Hudson Valley Vol. 1.

The Story Behind the Music
Her stage name, Rose, honors her Italian roots and both her beloved grandmothers, who carried the name and remain a source of strength and inspiration. Jessi carries it proudly, knowing they are watching over every note she sings.

But behind her powerful performances is an even stronger story. Jessi faced doubt and discouragement from many directions, including family members and friends.

Diagnosed at age three with Pervasive Developmental Disorder, ADHD, and a learning disability. Jessi’s early life was filled with challenges, struggling to fit in, connect, and be understood. For years, she battled anxiety, depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, and PTSD, afraid to open up for fear of being abandoned again.

Still, Jessi always knew music was her destiny. Growing up, she was surrounded by musicians: her uncle is a gifted guitarist who can play any song by ear, her mother and cousin also play guitar, her grandmother played piano, and her father sang in a band. Deeply inspired by her idols Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato, Adele, and others who shared their vulnerable ballads with the world, Jessi wanted to do the same: to help people heal through music the way those artists helped her.

The turning point came when Jessi watched a friend perform with his rock band. Seeing his raw passion on stage gave her goosebumps and lit an adrenaline rush inside her. A college friend noticed the spark in her eyes and encouraged her to follow her dream. This gave Jessi the confidence to jam with other musicians, take solos, and step fully into her power as a performer.

For Jessi, music became her voice when words failed. Singing is her therapy. Songwriting is her outlet. The stage is her safe haven, a place where she feels unstoppable and fully herself.

“I was blown away by not only her voice, but her drive, conviction, confidence, and songwriting skills. Her voice is a contender, but it’s not just the voice that makes a star; it’s the whole package. With the right guidance, Jess can be a force to be reckoned with. Her voice is as strong as Lady Gaga’s and Adele’s, and her personality is just as unforgettable. She truly shines.”
– Samantha Cole
