Jennifer Kelly, a St. Louis-based artist, has honed her skills in Irish traditional flute, tin whistle, dance, and vocals. Introduced to the tradition by her father who emigrated from Carrigaholt, Ireland, Jennifer's journey began in 1998, igniting a passion that has flourished over two decades.

Jennifer's achievements include over 40 Provincial Midwest Fleadh Titles across a range of categories including Flute, Tin Whistle, Duet, Trio, Céilí Band, and Grúpaí Cheoil. She has also won two prestigious 3rd place Senior titles at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann (World Irish Music Championship) in Derry (2013) and Ennis (2016).

A seasoned performer, Jennifer has graced stages across the globe, from across the United States to Ireland and Italy. Noteworthy performances include representing Ireland at the World Expo in 2015 as both a musician and a dancer, and sharing stages with renowned acts like The Chieftains, Gaelic Storm, and other world famous performers at various concert venues and at the famed Irish music bar, John D. McGurk’s.

Dedicated to cultivating the next generation of Irish musicians in the Midwest, Jennifer serves as an instructor at St. Louis Irish Arts teaching flute, tin whistle, and Irish dancing. Her mentorship has led to many of her students achieving accolades in Midwest and All-Ireland competitions.

Beyond her teaching commitments, Jennifer remains a prominent figure in the St. Louis session and performance community. Alongside her sister, Shannon Kelly, she forms the duo cleverly known as The Kelly Sisters, delivering Trad with a modern twist. She is also a member of the band, Bog Rattlers, as well as a number of other St. Louis music collectives. With unwavering commitment to the Irish music tradition, Jennifer Kelly continues to leave an impression on the Midwest and beyond.
