Warm, Inspiring, and Community-Oriented

I've had the absolute pleasure of working with Jen both as a workshop teaching artist and as host of the 2023 Last Fridays Roaming Poets series in Hillsborough, NC. She not only has the marketing and graphic design chops to help extend a very small nonprofit team's bandwidth for event promotion, but at every event, she carries a warmth and approachability that effortlessly connects with audiences through a comfortable realness and camaraderie. It's evident Jen cares deeply about fostering a sense of togetherness in community. Her messages are heartfelt, spiritual, humble, and grateful, and she's a role model for aspiring artists and community leaders we're lucky to have as a part of what we do at the Hillsborough Arts Council.
