For the moment you step into the room, you're tapping your feet and humming along as he takes you through a world of knowledge of jazz, hip hop, R&B, funk, Brazilian, and even salsa! This is the definition of a world music experience.

And you're not immune! Zaven often brings in crowd participation to enhance the musical moment. He can take an expert musician or someone who only speaks one word with the same level of mastery. He's bound to make your event unforgettable, and make every person in the room feel special.

Zaven is a vocalist, producer and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Los Angeles, California. He believes in the power of improvisation as an access point to greater self discovery and connectivity in community. Improvisation forces us to be in the moment; it forces us to believe in ourselves and the work we’ve put in to get us here. Growing up as a hip hop lyricist, poet and music producer, Zaven uses improvisation extensively in his work. Honed through the study of jazz, Zaven uses a combination of composed and freestyle songwriting, creating intricate lyrics and beats, as well as leading ensembles, all in the moment.
