December 5, 2021James was amazing. He was early, set up and got the party started! His large knowledge of all kinds of music was a hit!! He was so very nice and accommodating...I would definitely recommend him and if I plan another event that requires music, in a heart beat I would reach out to James. Such a great experience..we all had a great time!!!

July 16, 2021James was so helpful throughout the whole wedding! He was so nice & went out of his way to run things smoothly. He even had a flat tire & still came to our event! He kept people dancing & remembered many song requests we had put in!

February 26, 2020I booked James for my husband's 50th birthday at our home, and sent him a list of my husband's favorite songs. James was super communicative and accomodating. He came with his speaker/microphone (we have a piano already) and played for 2 hours. It was amazing! He has a fantastic voice, and got all our friends singing to the music. We would definitely book him again, it was such a fun evening!!

The audience would see me do a solo piano/vocal show that focuses on crowd interaction and requests. I love to play songs that people ask for, it gets them excited and involved and keeps everyone engaged and having a great time! My experience at piano bars makes this a very easy thing for me.
James Michael Day has been performing since age 8, when he landed his first paying hotel gig. Over 30+ years and 5,000+ shows, he's become one of Northern California's most in-demand entertainers. He's the former San Jose Sharks organist, has played hundreds of shows at San Francisco's famous Lefty O'Doul's piano bar, and has entertained corporate events from Atlantis Reno to Meta, Google and Levi's Stadium, plus multiple casinos. With 2,000+ songs in his repertoire, in every style from Sinatra to Elton John to today's hits, he reads the room and keeps every guest singing along. He is also co-founder of Modern Dueling Pianos, bringing high-energy, all-request dueling piano shows to events across the Bay Area, Sacramento, Napa, Lodi, Modesto, Lake Tahoe and Reno.
I am extremely simple, just need power! I provide the digital piano (grand piano shell optional), PA and all necessary equipment.
