Jaewon - Classic Player (Gigs, Lessons, Concert)

Jaewon Yoon has been playing the cello since the age of eight. From her early years,
she has performed for renowned teachers and audiences worldwide. She is currently
studying with Professor Colin Carr by pursuing Doctoral degree at stony brook university and previously studied with David Finckel and Fred Sherry at Juilliard, as well
as with Professor Qin Li-Wei during her undergraduate studies, actively developing her performance skills.
Jaewon has won first prize and recognition as the most exceptional performer in several
competitions, including the Charleston Competition, North International Music
Competition, Seoul Music Competition, Han Ye Music Competition, Seoul Chamber
Music Society Competition, and she is the winner of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra Competition. She has participated in prestigious music festivals such as IMS Prussia
Cove, Lac Léman Music Festival, and Domaine Forget de Charlevoix Music Academy. As a dedicated performer, she has a strong interest in connecting with audiences
through both solo and chamber music. With ambitions to continue performing and educating, she is pursuing further growth as a professional cellist and educator through doctoral studies at Stony Brook.
