Overview
Jacqui sings amazing songs people love to hear! Jacqui is from London and she lends a sophistication to the music with her 'posh' vocals. Audiences can't get enough of that accent!
Wherever she entertains, Jacqui is accompanied by some of the best and well respected jazz pianists in the Bay Area. She has been performing in a variety of venues, including to a jam packed audience in the lobby of the new Hotel Petaluma on Valentine's Day, at the Concerts on the Plaza series in Mountain View, to a standing room only audience with the Wednesday Night Big Band and a sold out cabaret performance at Luther Burbank Center for the Arts.
Jacqui is professional, sophisticated, charming and fun!

What to expect
Jacqui and Andy tailor their set list to their audience. That includes holidays too! So if you book them for St. Patrick's Day you'll get some Irish songs mixed in with some Great American Songbook, jazz standards and possibly some show tunes or Beatles.
They sing music that stirs memories across generations. Andy will take requests for instrumentals and if they have a vocal arrangement, Jacqui will sing requests. They have an extensive set list notebook of literally hundreds of songs for the customer who wants to choose the set list or they will ask questions about the audience to formulate their own set list.
Before most songs, Jacqui or Andy provide a ahort, interesting introduction about the song--usually something the audience didn't know--that sends an appreciative whisper through the crowd--they seem to like learning a little bit about the song.
Most sets last an hour which means about 20 songs to the set. One or two might be a sing along if appropriate.
About
Jacqui has been singing and playing around the San Francisco Bay Area for years. Jacqui sings classic jazz and Great American Songbook standards along with everything from the Beatles to the Rolling Stones, add in a little Broadway and her very posh English accent and it's a different twist on old tunes.
Jacqui is from London where she grew up in a large Irish family -- singing all her life.
Recently Jacqui has entertained for senior residences, private parties and a wonderful Valentine's Day gig at the beautiful, classically restored Hotel Petaluma in Northern California where she packed the lobby singing love songs for over two hours. She has also performed with a 17 piece jazz band at The Big Easy in Petaluma and at the Fern Bar in Sebastopol. She has been asked back over and over again which is music to her ears!
Additional booking notes
Andy will bring his electronic keyboard if a tuned piano is not available. They only need outlets for the keyboard and a column speaker.
