Overview
JacoMello is an instrumental band from Oceanside, CA. We play a mix of jazz infused music, that is easy to listen to and provides great background atmosphere for dining and social engagements.
We can also bring up the temperature and provide a fun and upbeat environment for dancing. Often featuring guest musicians and singers filling out our performance to meet the venue and event needs.
Our music is a mix of original and popular tunes with an improvisational twist that makes every performance unique, while also being comfortably familiar.
We hold a residency at the Jazzy Wishbone in downtown Oceanside where we can be seen performing every 2nd Friday of the month.

What to expect
JacoMello released their debut album “ElectrO’side” on March 13th, 2026. The album has been distributed worldwide on major platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Youtube. It was recorded at Emerald Age Recording Studio and is the band’s first album.
From the bluesy funk feel of “Ruff and Tuff” to the Bossa Nova inspired track, “Samba Stank”; each song is an invitation to wander through a vibrant musical landscape where no two tracks sound alike—proof of a band unafraid to explore, experiment, and express.
The band tailors their performance to the environment with a setlist that includes hours of live musical performance. The instrumental band can play everything from an intimate "unplugged" location, to a fully backlined venue and as a backing band for touring artists.
Our music is great for ambiance in dining or social situations, and the band can surely "turn it up" to get everyone dancing and having fun.

Jaco Mello crafts music that feels both timeless and fresh, familiar yet unpredictable. Their sound dances between genres like a late-night jam session under the stars, where spontaneity meets mastery.
