July 19, 2025Jack was outstanding—professional, talented, and a total pleasure to work with. From our first phone call, he was friendly, flexible, and genuinely interested in making our parents’ 50th anniversary party special. He brought all his own equipment, showed up early to be playing as they arrived, and even helped us coordinate the perfect entrance music. His voice is beautiful, his guitar playing is exceptional, and he created such a welcoming, joyful vibe throughout the day. He played for four hours, took requests, entertained the kids, and chatted easily with guests. At least a dozen people asked where I found him or how they could his original music. Jack helped make an already special day even more memorable, and I can’t recommend him highly enough.

May 17, 2021For my husband’s 40th birthday, I originally wanted to hire a band but the venue only allowed a solo guitarist due to noise restrictions... I was wary about it all, but Jack made it totally awesome. He’s super talented and made it fun for everyone. He even sent over his list of songs before the event too so I could give him an idea of what we like. Super easy to work with and I’d recommend him in a heartbeat. He is super talented and can play any song if you sing it to him. He added a very special energy to our party and our guests didn't want him to leave. I would hire him again in a heartbeat...maybe next weekend :).

As a solo performer and live musician, I believe that it is essential to guide my performances based on the energy level and response of the audience. In order to have a successful show, I will tailor my repertoire to fit the environment of the gig, and the general demographic and energy level of the crowd.

My name is Jack Ryan of Stamford, CT and I am a professional music performer. My musical career began when I was 17 years old - my buddies and I started a band, "Dirty Books", and played local shows at our high school, restaurants, and extracurricular events in our hometown of Ridgefield, CT. Years later, I had success playing shows around my college campus in NH; at bars and on-campus events, and eventually graduated and moved back home to CT.
After college, I was hired by Carnival Cruise Lines to perform as a solo singer on guitar and spent five years performing on ships; three hours a night, six nights a week. The time that I have spent performing on cruise ships has been, by far, the best practice that I have had to prepare me for a career of live performing. In between cruise contracts in 2017 and 2018, I lived in Nashville, TN and played gigs on the main strip five nights a week. Since 2020, I have continued my career performing at country clubs, private and corporate events in and around Fairfield County, CT.
Thanks to these experiences, I am able to call myself a proficient performer and entertainer and am always excited by the idea of bringing my chiseled talents to new avenue's.
I'll need a functioning power outlet, and a little bit of space.
