It Takes Two Djs

I was referred to It Takes Two from a relative who was getting married before me, I assumed since my relative was involved in the music scene, he knew this DJ's abilities but it turns out they were referred by their coordinator and didn't know their style either. I went to my cousin's wedding and was horrified to see the DJ accidentally play very loud music in the middle of their vows during the ceremony, then proceed to butcher the releasing of the tables by song for the buffet, then continuously play music that was specifically requested NOT to be played. By this point I had already paid my deposit, but figured I would do my best to make my own wedding fool proof, by giving them very specific instructions for the timeline, the play list, the do not play list and who to be announced for the grand entrance. We had 3 groomsmen drop out due to unforeseen circumstances, and the DJ was instructed on these changes. For our Grand Entrance, they got my entire bridal party right, but they announced me and my husband by the WRONG NAME, then attempted to blame it on our last minute changes...like my last name to be announced was one of those changes. They then forgot to announce my step mother-in-law, played my father-daughter dance song during open dancing, then decided to do their own little karaoke for some reason. I don't know if I've ever been so mad...or disappointed. I should have gotten my deposit back and scrambled to find a new DJ. The level of unprofessionalism displayed by these people is astounding, how they stay in business is a sheer mystery to me. Do yourself a favor...look elsewhere unless you're really willing to risk one of the most important days of your life being ruined.
