I have booked Isadora and Gabriel every year for the last 3 years, for our outdoor shows in the Lower East Side (Manhattan). They always bring such warm and intimate energy to the street, a treat for any passers-by at our early evening shows. One may wind down and daydream to the Duo's music, but one may also dance... It is fantastic how full and welcoming their sets feel like, even with just two guitars and voice! They are also very professional musicians, who are communicative, punctual, reliable and always well-prepared - just such a pleasure to work with!

Isa and Gabriel were easy to work with for staging my surprise proposal. I had a very specific vision for what I wanted, and they were willing and eager to work to fulfill my requests. Though they were not able to fulfill everything, that was entirely due to my requests being very last minute (I only booked them a few days ahead of time!), and they worked until the very end to try to make everything happen.
They helped to create a beautiful and intimate vibe at my requested location in the park. The proposal went without a hitch, they played the songs I requested beautifully, and it was an amazing moment for me and my fiancee. I would gladly book them again for a similar occasion.

Isadora Benítez
A New York-based vocalist and guitarist, Isadora blends jazz phrasing with the warmth of her Latin roots and a passion for Brazilian music. She is a classically trained musician with a Master of Music degree. Her influences include Rosa Passos, Gal Costa, João Gilberto, Mercedes Sosa, Carlota Jaramillo, Sarah Vaughan, and Django Reinhardt.
Gabriel Hermida
A guitarist and composer, Gabriel fuses tango, flamenco, and jazz with classical technique. He is also a classically trained musician with a Master of Music degree. He has collaborated with tap legend Savion Glover on the “Solo in Time” tour, performing at prestigious venues worldwide. Gabriel is the arranger and producer of acclaimed NYC shows such as:

Our Musical Influences
Our sound is a vibrant blend shaped by years of immersion in music from around the world.
We draw from jazz legends like Django Reinhardt, Sarah Vaughan, John McLaughlin, and Richard Bona, whose phrasing, improvisation, and rhythmic flow have deeply inspired our playing. Our love for Brazilian music shines through in the influence of João Gilberto, Gal Costa, Rosa Passos, and Antonio Carlos Jobim, whose rich harmonies and gentle rhythms are central to our style.
From Latin America, we carry the emotional power of Mercedes Sosa, the dramatic complexity of Astor Piazzolla, and the romantic soul of Carlos Gardel. Flamenco master Paco de Lucía and the energy of the Gipsy Kings inform our rhythmic approach and stage presence.
We’ve also had the honor of working with legends like Savion Glover, Leo Dan, El Puma, and Piero, and we’re inspired by theatrical greats like Édith Piaf, Barbara Streisand, and Liza Minnelli, especially in our themed shows.
Our multicultural background and years of performing across languages and genres have shaped us into a duo that’s as versatile as it is heartfelt — bringing together jazz, Latin, flamenco, and folk traditions with our own original voice.
