8 years ago almost to the date I became homeless, went through a bad divorce and lost my kids during my homelessness. After choosing to get out of homelessness I then became a drunk because I couldn't deal with losing my kids. I was the super mom and to not have them in my life completely left me at zero.

The day came where I had a mental break down and was found in my room with an empty half gallon bottle of whiskey and a loaded pistol in my mouth, ready to shoot. Luckily my now husband got it out of my hands and was placed in the hospital to sober up and go through withdrawl.

I dont tell this story for sympathy, for that a girls and you did it. I tell it because of what came next.

I chose... I had two actually...I could either choose to keep going down the same path and die...which was a choice or I could choose to live life again...I chose living life again. I knew at that moment I wasn't done here.

I sobered up and have not drank sense. I went to college at 40 years old.. I graduated and started my own business. Now I am doing speaking to motivate others to see their power inside of themselves.

Each choice along the way opened up new opportunities for me. It can for everyone!

Daily choices is empowerment. When you see no choice in your life you have no power..But when you can truly see what you are actually capable of doing you can soar as high as you decide to.

My background in college is communications, professional writing, and leadership skills. I have worked in real estate successfully, and have been a stay at home mom. I am now remarried and living life on my terms.

I grew up poor on the south side of Chicago in the NW corner of Indiana as a mill brat. My entire family worked in the milling industry and I always knew I wanted more than that. Poor mindset is a thing and as I grew as a business owner I realized how much that plays into how we move forward in life.

Now I am speaking and helping others see their world how they want it, and helping them make it come true.

I am also an empowerment sales coach, sale team trainer, author, and will be opening a sales agency for coaches and online course creators.
