June 22, 2016A Top Notch Ventertainer
As a ventertainer myself, I was asked to perform at several libraries and schools near where Meghan lives. My cost would've been high because I live in southern Arizona so I contacted Meghan and told her about the gigs that the libraries and schools couldn't afford. Meghan got in touch with them and got the gigs for herself. Had I not believed in Meghan Casey like I do, I wouldn't have offered her these gigs. The libraries were happy. Meghan was happy. Aidan was happy. I was happy that I found a qualified ventertainer to fill these gigs and Meghan didn't disappoint me one bit. Great job Meghan...oh, and Aidan also!

What to expect
My set up-time takes anywhere from 10-20 minutes, depending on the venue size and location, and I arrive anywhere from 1-2 hours prior to a performance (we can discuss my ETA if you'd like to schedule me). The duration of the performance can vary from 45 minutes to an 1 hour and 30 minutes depending on what you are looking for in regards to entertainment. Finally, it takes me 10-20 minutes to pack all of my equipment up, depending on the venue size and location. I'm more or less a "one-woman show" and perform with 5-6 puppets for a single performance and have been complimented many times on my professionalism when it comes to the entertainment I provide.
About
Meghan's initial interest in ventriloquism began 26 years ago with her dad, Ed. He picked up the unique art when he found out that Meghan was going to be born. While growing up, Ed would read books to her using puppets, and at the age of five, she noticed her dad's lips move. That's when she discovered the magic on how the puppets were REALLY talking. Meghan began learning ventriloquism immediately and was determined to become a ventriloquist herself.
At the age of 6, she passed the Maher Course of Advanced Ventriloquism within six months. Her dad wouldn't let her attend the annual "puppet meeting" with him unless she completed the course before attending, so she was on a time crunch to make it happen. This "puppet meeting" is otherwise known as the International Vent Haven Ventriloquist ConVENTion, a gathering that holds a series of workshops and performances featuring other well-known ventriloquists around the world. She performed for the first time on a stage at this ConVENTion and instantly fell in love with being on a stage and making people laugh.
Today, Meghan performs nationwide at theaters, libraries, schools, fairs, festivals, corporate events, and private celebrations. Her interactive shows invite audiences into hilarious adventures filled with unexpected twists, lovable troublemakers, and plenty of opportunities to become part of the action.
Beyond the stage, Meghan has built a massive online presence with millions of followers on social media using her puppet characters. Whether she is performing for a packed auditorium or creating comedy for viewers around the world, her goal remains the same: to deliver original, family-friendly entertainment that brings people together through laughter. Her ability to combine quick-witted comedy through imaginative storytelling has left audiences of all ages with unforgettable experience.
With professional sound equipment, nationally touring productions, and programs tailored to each audience, she offers much more than a traditional puppet show—she creates an experience audiences will remember long after the puppets have packed their bags.
Additional booking notes
Space Needed: I can make my performing setup work for an area of any size, but prefer to have a space of 10ft (L) x 6ft (W). Over the years, I have made a variety of spaces work at birthday parties since not everyone has a space that large to work with. The smallest space I have performed in is 6ft x 6ft.
Sound: I have my own 5000W sound system that I travel with. This sound system is best for a venue up to 1000 people, but have the capability to patch into larger sound systems/sound boards, if needed. Additionally, I have my own wireless headset mic since I do move around a lot while performing. I control all the music in my shows off of my Apple Watch as well.
