July 28, 2026Roslyn is an amazing Motivational Speaker/Author
Roslyn’s presentation at our Dutch Indo Heritage Luncheon was incredibly moving for everyone who attended. Hearing her share her parents’ story from her book, Meant to Be, was an inspiring reminder of hope, resilience, survival and love. She spoke with such honesty and emotion that the whole room was drawn in. People were in tears hearing what her parents went through, and smiling through tears when she described their survival and how eventually they found each other. You could also see how much of their strength she carries in her own life, especially after her cancer journey. I literally got goosebumps listening to her speak. Her story is relatable to people from all backgrounds. If you want a speaker who truly inspires and connects with an audience, I would absolutely recommend booking Roslyn. It was an honor to hear her bring such a beautifully written story to life.

July 13, 2026An Inspiring and Unforgettable Speaker
I had the privilege of hearing Roslyn speak at the Florida Bibliophile Society event honoring the winners of the Student Book Collecting Essay Contest, where I was recognized as a runner-up. From the moment she began sharing her family's remarkable story, she captivated the room with a message of resilience, humanity, and hope. As a young writer and lifelong lover of books, I was moved by her ability to bring history to life with such authenticity and compassion. After her presentation, she graciously took the time to speak with me and my mother, and we discovered that she knew one of my cousins, a wonderful reminder of how easily meaningful connections can be found through a shared love of books, stories, and people. Her genuine warmth, sincerity, and attentiveness made an already unforgettable experience even more meaningful. Roslyn is an exceptional storyteller whose message stays with you long after the presentation ends. I wholeheartedly recommend her to any audience seeking an inspiring, thought-provoking, and deeply memorable speaker. - Natalia Brijbag Benavides, Writer, Bibliophile, and Runner-Up, Florida Bibliophile Society Student Book Collecting Essay Contest (2024)

July 13, 2026Inspirational Talk at Rotary District Conference
Roslyn delivered an unforgettable keynote for our Rotary District Conference. Multiple club presidents had already praised her ability to captivate audiences, and she exceeded every expectation. Her parents’ story of survival and love is one of the most powerful and inspiring accounts I’ve ever heard. Roslyn presents it with clarity, heart, and deep historical insight. Her story is a testament to the human spirit and the power of love. My wife was so moved that she bought Roslyn’s book Meant to Be and read it that same night, calling it a beautiful love story that was truly ‘Meant to Be.’ Roslyn is an exceptional speaker whose message stays with you long after the event.

July 7, 2017Roslyn Franken's 'Meant to Be' Presentation
Roslyn is a wonderful and engaging speaker. I booked her for my Retirement home and was thrilled with the articulate, emotional and professional presentation she gave. After the presentation I had many residents come up to tell me how much they enjoyed her talk. One of them went as far as to tell me that she was the best guest speaker we’ve ever had here and thanked me profusely for booking her. I would recommend booking her to almost any type of group, not just for seniors.

June 16, 2017Motivational Breakfast-Guest Speaker "Meant To Be"
I am the Community Relations Coordinator for Grand Villa of Largo Assisted Living & Memory Care Community. Once a month, we host a Motivational Breakfast for Healthcare & Non-healthcare Professionals in the area. Our goal is to select and invite speakers that have an interesting and uplifting topic that might make a difference in their day or life or business.
Last month, we were privileged to have Roslyn Franken speak about one of her books, “Meant To Be” which is a story about how her parents survived the unimaginable. Surviving cancer, imprisonment and much much more!
After the breakfast, Roslyn scooted upstairs to do her hour long presentation for our residents and outside guests…There was not a dry eye in the room. She left such a vision with those who were present. She speaks with such passion as if you are there re-living the many stories her parents lived through.
I am not exactly sure how I even heard about Roslyn or who connected us, however, I guess it was just “MEANT TO BE”!!
Thank you,
Lori Smith/Community Relations Coordinator
