Holly Johnston launched her comedy career in the Boston area in 2019 and later took her talents to the city of Austin.
Known for turning the ordinary chaos of life- like being broke, living in a new city, or moving back home- into hilarious and oddly uplifting material, Holly reminds us that what feels painful now, will one day be a really funny story.
From odd jobs, to awkward roommate encounters, to messy relationships, Holly’s humor connects with anyone who’s ever realized that they might be doing it all wrong, but that’s okay.
Her comedy inspires audiences to embrace the absurdities and remember when life doesn’t go your way, you can always rewrite the story.
Holly earned her spot as a finalist in the 2024 Boston Comedy Festival and has performed at clubs all over US and in the UK, including Zanies in Chicago, Backyard Comedy Club in London, Capcity in Austin TX, and more!
She recently featured for Tim Meadows at Vermont Comedy Festival and has opened for Kevin Nealon, Nick Mullen, and Jen Fulwiler. She also performed at South By Southwest 2023 and Rogue Island Comedy Festival 2024.
