A few years back while working in the storage business, Bob and I had a discussion on increasing revenue and providing quality service.
It was without a doubt the most important 45 minutes I had spent in years.
Results over my final year before retirement were astounding, revenue up 75%, Occupancy up 50%, Customer Satisfaction up 40%.

What to expect
Expect more than a speech.
I bring more than three decades of leadership and business experience into the room, then turn it into principles people can actually use when the meeting is over. Your audience can expect direct conversation, relevant stories, practical application, humor with purpose, and challenges that make leaders examine how they think, communicate, decide, and lead. I do not speak to fill time. I speak to create movement. People should leave with something they can apply to their leadership, business, team, and life immediately. That is the Caveat Standard of Excellence.
About
Bob Reish is an executive business consultant, speaker, leadership strategist, and founder of the Caveat Institute. He speaks to leaders who are tired of recycled motivation, weak standards, and leadership advice that sounds good on stage but dies by Monday morning.
Bob brings decades of experience in business development, sales leadership, executive consulting, organizational growth, and marketplace leadership. He has trained and equipped leaders through workshops, masterclasses, business events, leadership trainings, podcast platforms, and strategic speaking engagements. His strength is not theory. It is hard-earned wisdom shaped by real conversations with real leaders carrying real responsibility.
Known for his signature phrase, “Here’s the Caveat,” Bob brings clarity where leaders often feel stuck. His message helps audiences identify what is limiting their leadership, strengthen decision-making, build healthier cultures, lead with greater consistency, and raise the standard without losing people in the process.
Bob does not just point out problems. He gives leaders practical language, sharper perspective, and usable tools they can take back to their teams immediately. His audiences leave with a clearer understanding of what must change, what must be protected, what must be released, and what discipline is required to lead at the next level.
His message is built on the Caveat Standard: character before competence, consistency over convenience, capacity before scale, and wisdom over optics.
Bob’s speaking style is direct, practical, humorous, and conviction-driven. He brings faith-rooted wisdom without fluff, business insight without jargon, and truth without turning the room into a corporate therapy session. His goal is simple: help leaders think clearer, lead stronger, build better, and stop settling.
Bob Reish does not offer status quo leadership.
He raises the standard.
Signature line:
“Consistency is leadership’s currency.”
Additional booking notes
For most speaking engagements, my technical requirements are simple and designed to keep the focus on the audience and the message.
I typically need a quality wireless lavalier or headset microphone, a reliable sound system appropriate for the size of the room, and access to a confidence monitor or presentation screen when slides are being used. If the room is large, adequate stage lighting should be provided so the audience can clearly see the speaker.
A standard raised stage or presentation area is preferred for larger audiences, with enough room to move naturally while speaking. A podium is not required.
If presentation slides are part of the program, I will need HDMI or compatible connection access, a projector or LED screen, and a presentation clicker. I prefer to provide the final presentation file in advance whenever possible.
For virtual or hybrid events, a stable high-speed internet connection, professional audio, proper lighting, and a reliable video platform are required.
Specific requirements may vary depending on the venue, audience size, event format, and presentation. I am always willing to coordinate with the event production team in advance to make sure everything is simple, professional, and ready before the audience arrives.
Services offered
Set list
As a keynote speaker, I do not use a traditional musical set list. My “set list” is the sequence of leadership principles, stories, audience interaction, and practical application built around the needs of the event.
Typical topics may include:
Leadership responsibility and accountability
Communication that creates clarity
Asking better questions
Decision-making under pressure
Integrity and standards
Priority management
Goal achievement
Customer service and value
Sales integrity
Developing future leaders
Moving from success to significance
Leadership in the marketplace
Faith-based leadership principles when appropriate
Practical tools leaders can apply immediately
Each keynote is tailored to the audience, event purpose, time available, and desired outcome. I do not rely on a rigid canned presentation. The structure is disciplined, but the delivery remains conversational, relevant, and responsive to the room.
The goal is simple: give the audience principles they remember, tools they can use, and enough challenge to make the message matter after the event is over.
Influences and inspiration
My influences come from leaders, authors, pastors, business thinkers, coaches, and people I have worked with over more than three decades. I have been influenced by timeless leadership principles, Scripture, practical business experience, and leaders who understood that leadership carries responsibility beyond titles, revenue, or recognition.
Some of the strongest influences on my work include leaders and thinkers who emphasized integrity, discipline, communication, service, personal responsibility, significance, and developing others. I have also been shaped heavily by the people I have coached, consulted, led, taught, and learned from throughout my career. Real leadership gets tested in real situations, with real people, real consequences, and decisions that do not always come with easy answers.
My faith is foundational to how I view leadership. Scripture continues to influence how I think about character, stewardship, service, courage, wisdom, accountability, and the responsibility to build into others. Rather than model my speaking or leadership work after one individual, I have spent years studying principles, testing them in business and leadership environments, and developing them into my own Caveat Standard of Excellence.
The result is a speaking style and leadership philosophy built from experience, conviction, practical application, and a commitment to leave people better equipped than when I entered the room.
Setup requirements
Wireless lavalier or headset microphone
Professional sound system appropriate for the room and audience size
Presentation screen, projector, or LED display when slides are used
HDMI or compatible presentation connection
Presentation clicker or remote
Confidence monitor for larger stages when available
Adequate stage lighting focused on the speaker
Raised stage or clearly defined speaking area for larger audiences
Small table or stand for water and presentation materials
Bottled water available on or near the stage
Power access near the presentation area if needed
