We had so much fun celebrating New Year's Eve 2015 with Harrison! He was great with communication, played exactly what we were hoping for, got the crowd involved, and even played later than originally agreed upon at our request. Our guests were still talking about the party weeks later.
I needed a good rounded singer that was affordable and I got both with Harrison Swift. Harrison was totally awesome. From the time I reached him through GigSalad to the time he arrived to our party, his communications were dead on! I was never concerned that he wouldn't show. His website eased my mind when I got to see and hear clips of his singing and playing of the guitar. Harrison did a great job with the songs we requested which included country as well as classic rock. His singing voice is sensational and a joy to listen to. His professionalism and love of music were truly appreciated.
We enjoyed him so much that we booked him again for our company Christmas Party and has passed his name on to friends. :) You just can't go wrong with Harrison Swift.
Harrison is a very talented musician who truly knows how to entertain. Whether he's doing a solo acoustic show or playing with a full band at the House of Blues, his professional musicianship never ceases to amaze.
Booking him was very simple for me. He was easy to get ahold of and he charged a very fair price. I'd recommend Harrison Swift to anyone who's looking for a musician in Texas or anywhere in the South.

Expect high quality service and fast communication!
Hi, my name is Harrison Swift. I'm a musician from Southeast Texas that performs live music in restaurants, bars, clubs, pubs, and pavilions all across Texas. Classic Country, Texas Country, Country Rock, Blues, Delta Blues, Reggae, Zydeco, Jazz, Alternative, Funk, Classic Rock, Soul, R&B, and Texican Rock N' Roll is what I'm mainly playing for my full band sets and solo acoustic sets. Not only do I sing/play guitar for events, I also sit in as a drummer, bass player, mandolin player, and backup singer, if needed.
After growing up with a Fender Stratocaster in my hands, I learned to appreciate the abundance of styles, genres, tones, dynamics, and moods that come along with music as a whole.
Whether I'm playing Hank Williams Jr. in a bar or playing original songs off of my album in a coffee shop, I play, sound, look, and use my musical instruments & equipment as a professional should. After releasing my debut album, "Republic Of Music," many doors opened up for me as an artist because I had something tangible that I could hand to bar owners, booking agencies, musicians, and producers. It's an album that has a high quality look and a high quality sound to back up what I'm actually selling. You can check me out on iTunes, CD Baby, Youtube, or Facebook to see what I'm all about. All of those websites can easily be accessed through my personal Website as well.

When I perform SOLO ACOUSTIC ACTS, I use a Bose L1 Model 2 amplification system. This thing is very easy for me to set up and isn't a hassle to carry around. For my acoustic performances, this Bose seriously sounds incredible. I sing lead vocals, Play acoustic guitar, and can mic up a hand drum (if needed). For these smaller shows, I'm using a 6 channel Yamaha mixer, which allows me to add additional vocalists, guitar players, drums, percussion, etc).
I use a pedal board that has a looper on it. With this, I can click the pedal, play a part of the song, click the pedal again and let the pedal loop the part that I just recorded. This allows me to play lead guitar over the parts that I loop. Who does the Loop pedal benefit? It benefits me as the solo acoustic artist because I'm not having to worry about a rhythm guitar player messing up my song. It also decreases the amount of money that the party holder would have to pay, simply because it eliminates the need to have another musician sitting on stage with me. While the loop pedal takes the place of a rhythm guitarist, it saves money for the bar, restaurant, or event planner because fewer people on stage means fewer dollars spent to pay the performer.
FOR DJ EVENTS:
I can provide (4) JBL speakers (for very loud music if it's a party), or I can provide a set up that sounds just as good at a lower volume (For lower key events).
If a DJ is what you need, contact me! I'll be happy to get further in depth of the equipment that I'll provide for your event.
I BRING ALL OF THE NECESSARY EQUIPMENT:
Whether I'm playing a smaller acoustic set, playing with my full band, playing drums, bass, guitar, or mandolin as a fill in musician, I won't need to rely on anyone else's instruments, chords, speakers, stands, microphones, amplification, stools, towels, and water because I BRING IT ALL.

AS A GUITAR PLAYER: I grew up on Stevie Ray Vaughan, Blind Willie Johnson, Freddie King, Buddy Guy, Eric Johnson, Eddie Van Halen, Paul Jackson Jr, and Norman Brown.
AS A SINGER: Michael McDonald, James Taylor, Norah Jones, Eric Clapton, Don Henley, and John Mayer
AS A DRUMMER, my inner vibes were kicked off by Steve Jordan, Keith Carlock, Dave Grohl, Carter Beauford, Stewart Copeland, Steve Gadd, and Chad Smith.
AS A BASS PLAYER: Pino Palladino, Gerald Albright, Sean Hurley, Jojo Hernandez, Michael Anthony
I bring all of my own equipment, so the only thing I need from the venue is an electrical power outlet.
