Verified review

We had Richie play guitar and sing at our garden party over the weekend, and he was fantastic. His set featured older classics rather than current hits, which created the perfect relaxed, nostalgic atmosphere. The volume was just right — never overpowering, but enough to enjoy while chatting and mingling.

He was also very professional and easy to work with — responsive in communication, punctual, and arrived early to set up without any fuss. If you’re looking for great background music performed by a chilled and talented musician, I highly recommend him. However, if you’re after modern chart hits, he might not be the right fit.

Better than imagined...

Richie is much more than just a great singer/entertainer. He is also so full of personality and personal stories that captivated the audience throughout the entire 60-minutes. He was in no rush and did not "watch the clock" as many other performers have done in the past. Instead, he appeared to be "at home" as was very relaxed. He made us feel comfortable in our own home!

I can whole-heartedly recommend Richie.

WHAT ADVICE TO A CLIENT LOOKING TO HIRE A MUSICIAN OR MUSICAL GROUP?
Ask questions until you are satisfied this performer and the music is right for you and your event. When looking for a performer: what will I and my guests enjoy listening to? What ambience do I want to create for my guests and do the performers help me achieve this?

I'm self-taught and have performed on television, the stage and in clubs for many years.

The fee depends upon the length of the engagement, the number of musicians I hire to accompany me (if any), my travel and lodging expense (if it is more than minimal) and the nature of the function itself.

Indoors: a space large enough for the musicians to play in.
Outdoors: a covered space on flat ground (wood or concrete, rather than grass)
Indoors and Outdoors: At least one A/C outlet within 10 feet of the playing area. We bring all the equipment we need, but if you have a house P/A, we might make use of it.
