Thank you for your interest in live harp music! I play styles of Classical, Celtic and Jazz music. As a band leader, I can accommodate solo harp, duets or trio ensembles.
For a WEDDING:
Ceremony package is 30min prelude before ceremony + ceremony songs, as well as a bit of postlude after the ceremony (up to 1.5hr total). I also offer Solo Harp Ceremony + 1hr Cocktail music. This includes relocation to another location at the venue as needed (up to 2.5hr). My harp has a custom pickup and I travel with an amplifier as well.
For CORPORATE or HOTEL event:
I can work with your sound engineer / MC sound system team, or I can bring my own equipment for either a large or smaller sound. I can be either background music, or main stage performer.
For HARP THERAPY:
I am a Certified Therapeutic Musician, with a decade of experience playing in hospitals, hospice, and clinical healthcare. I play a small lap harp in this setting to leave room for patient care, doctors, support devices, and loved ones.
For FUNERAL / MEMORIAL:
I can bring a large or small harp for indoor or gravesite options.
Monica Schley, is a harpist, poet, mother, songwriter, wedding musician, harp instructor, and touring artist. My harps have a custom set of pickups built in. For solo background events, I bring my own Fischman Loudbox amplifier, or a battery powered Samsung.
If I sing as well, I bring my Shure 58 microphone and boom stand.
For larger concert events, I will bring my own Direct Input box and work with your sound engineer / MC sound system team.
