Harmony Strings

Harmony Strings rocked last night as they played a variety of contemporary songs that had our audience lip syncing to their music. Alexandra and her TEAM were very professional and were the hit of the evening.

I was not present for the show but I got great feedback from staff members and residents. They loved the music and said the ladies were dressed beautifully.

They were terrific. So easy to work with. Adjusted to requests. Played wonderfully. We had several musicians at our event who were impressed

All of the ladies with Harmony Strings are talented, professional and very nice. We had a String Quartet play for our formal dinner of about 90 guests. The ladies were here on time and dressed beautifully. They have a huge song list of both contemporary and religious songs. We chose the contemporary list and every song was perfect. We ended up running late and they graciously stayed for an additional hour and a half. I highly recommend Harmony Strings. They will elevate any event you have. Thank you ladies for a wonderful evening!

We booked the string quartet for our outdoor wedding. It was super easy to reach Alexandra to set up a classical music set list. We did not have bridesmaids or really a precessional so the instructions to the band was to start playing the pachelbel cannon when they saw the bride and Father of the bride drive up in a golf cart. Well on the day of the event the quartet did not check in when they allegedly came early to set up. They did not call me to ask where to set up. They did find their place on their own which is fine. I'm not sure when they started playing because they just did their own thing.
Unfortunately, they missed their only cue. all they had to do was play while guests were getting seated and when the golf cart came to start the wedding song I had picked. But instead, when they saw the bride drive up they stopped playing completely.
I literally waited in the golf cart in silence after we drove up. All my quests were waiting for me and staring. So I got out of the golf cart staring daggers at the musicians and they literally stared back at me blankly holding their instruments. Finally my mother said, "Start" and as magical of a moment that was for my walk down the aisle I wish they would have figured it out sooner. They scrambled to start but we only got 10 seconds into the song before I got to the end of the aisle. They really ruined my walk down the aisle and for that I will not recommend this band. Much of this could have been avoided with better communication but they just showed up and did not check in with anyone.
We did have a PG&E power failure during the wedding and they handled the heat very well for the indoor cocktail hour. I had planned on them taking their chairs from the ceremony to the reception but they never asked until they got to the cocktail hour so by then it was too late to walk all the way back. They did stand and play and from the small clip that I heard they were fine. I had also asked if they could possibly stay later during the booking process but they packed up early and left without checking in with me (the bride) or anyone else in the family.
