Highly highly highly recommend hiring Vybe Society for your wedding! They were an absolute blast and made our day so so special. They are an excellent band and kept the day running perfectly. Additionally, Catherine (manager) is super organized and is quick to answer questions and keep tabs on everything. We felt so taken care of and can't recommend Vybe Society enough!! I hired Vybe Society for a corporate reception. In a word, VS is 'outstanding'. Very professional and delivered a tasteful and lively performance that motivated your hosted clients to hit the dance floor. I received many compliments from our guests about the VS performance.

This band was a huge hit (of many hits) at our house party - we are already looking for an excuse to have another party just so we can have the Vybe Society back!

Vybe Society was the first band we listened to when looking for a wedding band, and it was immediately obvious that they were going to be awesome - and they did not disappoint! The musicians are super talented and they play styles that a variety of people can enjoy. When we had to pivot due to COVID, they were easy to coordinate with and were able to pivot to accommodate our new plans. Everyone LOVED the music! No cheesy wedding tunes, just awesome live music. I would 1000% recommend them for your event - whether you want a full party band or chill cocktail hour music, they're awesome.

We had a fantastic experience with Vybe Society as our wedding band. They are super fun, upbeat, and played a wide range of songs from all decades that kept everyone on the dance floor. They were very well organized and responsive during the planning process too. They also went above and beyond to accommodate by 84-yr old grandfather to play our first dance song by bringing a keyboard and setting it up for him. Love this band and recommend them to all!

Vybe Society was a hit at the City of Mountain View, Concert on the Plaza Series. Communication up to the event was clear, band arrived with plenty of lead time, everyone was super friendly and the cherry on the top was a fabulous performance. Highly recommend Vybe Society!

We were hosting a cocktail party to punctuate the close of an executive conference and thought it would be really nice to have live music. Our team took a risk and decided to transition the courtyard used for lunch and breaks to summer garden reception while guests where in breakouts sessions. Needless to say, furniture, bar, and band set-up needed to be extremely quiet to not be a distraction for guests. Vybe Society was on time, set-up quickly and created the right ambiance for a beautiful summer garden reception. We're totally working with them again.

Vybe Society played for our reception and we got SO many comments from guests about how great the band was! They were super high energy and the vocalists were amazing. We also used their pre-made dinner playlist and that was a huge hit with our guests too. We're so happy with our decision to work with Vybe Society and we had such a great time dancing with our friends and family!

Vybe Society was the highlight of our wedding! My dad is a professional musician and tough to impress, but even he was blown away by Vybe's tight arrangements, killer vocals, and high energy. Our guests can't stop talking about how great Vybe was and everyone agrees it was the best dance party they've been to in years.

Vybe did an awesome job with our first dance (Lovely Day) and then segued into the brightest and funkiest version of the Horah anyone has ever heard. Through the next three hours, they kept the energy high and everyone having an amazing time. Our vocalists were incredible -- thanks Tasche, Kimiko, and Luq! They also did a great job providing solo piano for our ceremony, DJ'ing music for our cocktail hour, and MC'ing our toasts after dinner.

Vybe also brings an extremely high level of professionalism and were super easy to work with. Their event coordinator Catherine is very helpful and we knew we were in good hands working with her. We cannot recommend Vybe highly enough!!

Catherine is a pleasure to work with. She makes coordination super easy and she is flexible and professional. As an Event Planner, I will gladly work with her again! The band that she set my client up with for our Sunday Brunch corporate event was amazing. Trio of super talented musicians who were also very flexible with changes and client requests on the day-of. Wow - such an incredible group of musicians with talent and attention to detail. Wedding guests could NOT believe that we were able to secure such an amazing band in such a short turnaround (we had a 2 month planning period), and Vybe was so helpful and very responsive. One of my favorite elements of our wedding!

My son and his now-wife!!! hired Vybe Society for their wedding at Straus Home Ranch in Marshall. As the mother of the groom, I worried about everything being perfect and, of course, the band was part of that. Wow, wasted worry on my part. This band was PHENOMENAL and everyone was on the dance floor the entire time. From a purely organizational standpoint, I was so impressed with how early they arrived and set up, how relaxed and friendly they all seemed, how the planned dances that combined recorded music as well as live went off perfectly. We borrowed their audio equipment for the ceremony on top of a windy hill and it was ideal. Back in the barn, once everyone jumped onto the dance floor to Pharell's Happy (after mother/groom dance), there was not a soul who didn't dance for hours. Their vocalists were unbelievably talented and, if I had one minor suggestion, it was that their amplification wasn't up to that of the instruments. They seemed to have smaller amps and so so their amazing voices could get lost. But no matter, their music was infectious and spanned motown, funk, a little rap I think, and any dancing genre you can think of. Everyone loved them and I had many people ask me their name. I expect to hire them for a dance party in the not-too-distant future; not for a wedding, though, for my 66th birthday!! Do not bother looking for another band. BOOK VYBE SOCIETY as soon as you can.

Vybe Society came out for a 50th birthday party and they really set the vybe of the evening. From setting a chill dinner atmosphere to getting the guests up and grooving on the dance floor, they were amazing and I recommend them for any party.

Vybe Society was an amazing edition to our wedding and the music was absolutely amazing! All of our guests commented on how good the band was and everyone was dancing all night. Vybe Society covered all music and MCing throughout the wedding (ceremony music and microphones, cocktail hour live music, wedding announcements during the reception, and live music for dancing during the reception) and did a flawless job with everything. Catherine was so great to work with and was more than accommodating when we had to move our date twice due to covid restrictions. I cannot recommend Vybe Society enough! You get so much for what you pay for and they are worth every penny!

Vybe Society totally brought down the house at our wedding! They got everyone out on the dance floor, and when people weren't dancing they were talking about how great the band was! Not only are they an absolute pleasure to work with, but their professionalism and talent also shine through in all of their dealings. I could not recommend them more for any event that calls for dancing and fun!

We knew that a live band would make the party, and WOW they brought the energy! The music was great, and the dancing was too. Before that, we really appreciated that they handled everything audio for the whole day: ceremony music, microphones, cocktail hour, MC’ing entrances and first dances, and (best for last) FUN DANCING. They were great to work with ahead of time too, including relocating our wedding from Lake Tahoe to Santa Rosa with less than two weeks to go due to the Caldor Fire. I’m already recommending them to other friends I know, so I hope to hear them again soon!

I would hire them again and again This group was phenomenal. Excellent singers and unbelievable horn section. They even had a violinist for the father/daughter dance. Our wedding was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic. Catherine Ruth their manager was so professional, extremely nice and so easy to work with. We are from the east coast and all our friends said this band was the best they ever heard. We were dancing all night. Their voices were unbelievable. People at the Ritz-Carlton where the event was held commented how wonderful their sound was.

Working with Vybe Society was a dream all the way from the start. They were great at communicating and making sure everything ran wonderfully. On wedding day, they were very flexible, they read the crowd and played all the right songs at the right times for what the crowd was needing to hear. Their sound and vocals were amazing!! All the guests were on the dance floor the whole time!! It was hard to stop the party at the end of the night! Poeple were not ready to leave. I HIGHLY recommend them!!!

This band was absolutely $%^#ING fantastic and honestly MADE OUR WEDDING at Travis Marina in Sausalito, CA this September 2021 and I am sad its over. I just want to have another party or event so I can book and hear this band again. The Vybe society played a jazz trio set in the downstairs lounge during cocktail hour. Then one of the lead vocalists MC'ed the dinner portion and introduced all the toasts. and THEN the band BURNED IT DOWN and probably created the best dance floor energy I have ever seen at a wedding so far. In the upstairs in the bar, we COULD NOT STOP DANCING. They played 3 sets, all upbeat, and I was so elated. The dance floor was NEVER empty and I haven't stopped buzzing since. I am so grateful to this band and wish I could have hugged each musician individually to thank them for truly making my wedding unforgettable. They also allowed me to come up and sing Proud Mary with them and it was a blast. Catherine was wonderful about being in touch and communicating with me about all of our needs for the event, and the band executed the first dance songs beautifully as well. The lead singers were GREAT at engaging the crowd and they were GREAT DANCERS! I loved when they would go into the crowd and be sassy and get people dancing! If anyone in the SF Bay Area is looking for a soulful, booty shaking, joy explosion of a band, THIS is the band. I loved loved LOVED this band , as did all of our guests and I would rate them 11 out of 10. The Vybe Society is FIRE and you need them for your event!! I LOVED THEM. Professional, Energetic, amazing musicians individually and an infectious, TIGHT, FANTASTIC BAND! GET THIS BAND FOR YOUR WEDDINGS, FUNERALS, EVERYTHING!

Vybe Society brought the party to our wedding! This group of talented musicians showed they are true professionals. Not only did they have everyone on the dance floor, but multiple guests who are in the music industry commented on how this band was the real deal. Such a wonderful company to work with, would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Stop searching for your band, you just found them!

Vybe Society played at our wedding this year and absolutely nailed it. They brought energy, excitement, and great tunes. You might even say they had an amazing vibe... Our only regret was that we should have opt'd for a bigger dance floor. Vybe Society had every single person on their feet from start to finish. 

The whole experience was flawless. Catherine made the booking/coordination a breeze, she was really fun to bounce ideas off of and was easily the most flexible vendor we worked with as Covid shutdowns impacted our original wedding plans. We shared a spotify playlist of songs to help direct the band and they delivered the hits! Including an epic 10 minute "Shout" to end the night.

At the end of the night, we had multiple guests ask for their info as they wanted to book them for their events too.

Do yourself a favor and book this band! You've got other decisions to make, this one is done :) 

Vybe Society was amazing. They were lively and energetic and super talented. Even though we had a smaller wedding, they had everybody on the dance floor!

We didn't originally plan to have a live band, but it made our wedding day so much better.

Having a guitarist for our pre-ceremony and ceremony also really enhanced the experience for us and our guests, and Vybe Society made it easy to line all of that up. If you want to take your wedding to the next level in terms of music, Vybe Society is a great option. We had so much fun!

Vybe Society worked with me to provide a virtual based live jazz performance for my company and those that we serve. They were more than happy to accommodate to my specific requests for the performance and were super prepared during the performance. We had the Jazz group and they played a variety of well known songs. This was the second time i've worked with this band and it's a positive experience every single time. I will definitely work with them again the future.

Tasche and the band are professional, talented, and versatile musicians. They have a great sound and put together killer arrangements (full horn section!). They tailored the set lists perfectly, brought high energy throughout, and kept the dance floor packed for our reception. So many guests came up to us asking about the awesome band! On top of all that, it was super easy and enjoyable working with them leading up to our wedding day. Highly recommend Vybe Society! Truly one of the highlights of the evening!

We hired Vybe society to provide music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. They were excellent at each step - extremely flexible in learning songs that were important to us, professional, and most important so fun. All of our guests were dancing and partying until the very end of the night. We'd recommend asking for them to bring horns to your wedding, it really added to the music and made the dancing a blast. They ended up learning 5 or 6 new songs for our processional, recessional, bride's song, entrance song (for the reception), first dance, and mother/groom's dance. Highly recommend, they were so much fun and sounded amazing, you will not regret!

There really are no words to describe how awesome of an experience we had working with Catherine and Vybe Society for our anniversary party. From the moment I reached out to the day of our garden party, everything went seamless. I am a planner but did not want to get too into the details with the band (for example, we knew we wanted soul music, but did not want to create and an entire list of songs. They are the professionals after all). We went with the 8-person band because what is soul music without the horn section?

We did not want a wedding reception feel and that is what we got. Full disclosure: we are actually anti-reception and did not want it to feel like a typical celebration and they delivered like none other. The singers were phenomenal and sounded just like the original. We have no caveats to our experience at all and would book them again without hesitation.

Hiring Vybe Society for our wedding was one of the best decisions we have ever made! They were extremely warm, professional, and friendly from the very first email on, and made the entire coordinating music process a breeze. They had some of the fastest response times (often getting back to us the same day) and were incredibly flexible and personal and truly helped us make the day special. They understood how important the day was for us, while also making it super fun! We could not recommend them enough, we are so fortunate to have found them!

Vybe Society was absolutely fantastic! Their energy, skill, and musical precision absolutely guaranteed a wonderful time for us and all of our guests. Nearly all of our guests commented on how fantastic the music was at our wedding and it showed because the dance floor was full the entire night! They went above and beyond just creating a typical "wedding song" playlist. Instead, they read the crowd, tailored their performance to the moment, and really were just perfection. In addition, the entire planning process with Catherine was flawless. They all professional, responsive via email, and accountable. It was an absolute Pleasure to have them at our wedding! Could not recommend them any more.

Vybe Society operates with the utmost professionalism and musicality. A hard combination to find! They played at our wedding in Lake Tahoe and we just loved everything they played - from ceremony, to cocktail, and reception music. Everyone noted how great the band was and enjoyed dancing.

Everything about Vybe Society was super professional and organized, with the response time from their coordinator lightning fast. I gave them a list of songs from Mardi Gras in New Orleans and they were able to play them with their 10 piece brass band as if I were dancing down Bourbon Street. Erin belted out “At Last” like Etta James herself, & Tasche created a mellow groove like none other during our cocktail hour, & he also made the sound for our strings in the acoustic windy tunnel of The Palace of Fine Arts sound like a cathedral. We had our “crooner” giving us the old hits, & also jammed to current radio beats. They can do anything, and best of all, our guests were on the dance floor all night long. They MC’d our reception with grace & our guests are still raving about them. Can’t wait to book them for an anniversary party one day :)
