Hakken Krax Howl

Music for every genre and every decade. While the focus of the project is on writing original music, you'll hear songs from Sam Cooke, to David Bowie, to Alanis Morissette, to Mumford and Sons. The band loves to make music that grabs attention and gets people moving.

Hakken Krax Howl is an Original Band born out of the West Michigan Music scene. Lead by Tori and Jake Oakey, then band writes haunting but profound songs about the trials of life, love, and the pursuit of happiness. The band started in 2023 and has been playing in the West Michigan area ever since. While their focus is on creating original music, they provide a wide variety of covers inspired by other singer songwriters, soul, rock, R&B, and rock groups.
Hakken Krax Howl is committed to building community through music. The members are all accomplished musicians in their own rite and have been playing and performing for 10+ years. You can book them for just a duo act, or a full band to fulfill any event needs. They promise a friendly and welcoming environment with their music that centers on ensuring no one is left outside of the community. Each of their shows engages the audience directly and is often a humorous affair, even if their songs get gritty.

All sound can be provided, but hiring additional sound people and equipment is always welcome. Lighting is up to the venue at this time. All we need is connection to power and we are good to go!
