1 Review

I saw David perform at a public event in Castle Rock and was mesmerized by his voice. He doesn't just sing the songs; he tells the story behind the songs, especially the Johnny Cash songs since he is also a Johnny Cash tribute artist. He has the best country voice I have ever heard from a local artist. I even asked if he lived in Nashville and was surprised to hear he is local!
I decided to book him for a private party at my house, and all my guests were extremely impressed. Most of the time, the musicians were just background music at my parties, but this was like having a private concert; we were all that attentive.
Someone this good needs to be on a bigger stage. Book him while you can, I'm guessing he won't be available much longer if someone in Nashville gets wind of his talent.

Response from David Chapa Music:
Thanks for your kind words, Joseph. It was a pleasure meeting you and performing at your home for your “small group” of guests (what was it? About 100 people? :-) ) your backyard is the perfect venue for an outdoor concert.
I look forward to doing it again next year!

What to Expect
David is a natural storyteller who brings every performance to life with engaging song introductions, fun facts, and connections that draw the audience in. Each show is a journey through country music history, featuring beloved hits from the ’60s through the ’90s — and beyond.
The most common reaction from first-time listeners? “Your voice!” It’s a compliment David hears often, and one you’ll understand as soon as he starts to sing. Whether you're booking for a small gathering or a large-scale event, David delivers a heartfelt and memorable country music experience rooted in tradition, honesty, and soul.
David’s Bose L1 Pro32 powers every show with Sub2, a high-end, professional-grade sound system that delivers crisp, even audio across any venue — from intimate patios to large outdoor spaces. The system is fully self-contained, allowing for fast setup, minimal footprint, and consistent volume and clarity without overwhelming the audience.
David travels with everything needed to perform — all he asks for is a standard 110V outlet (preferably on a 20-amp circuit) and a shaded or covered area for outdoor events to protect both gear and performer.
