March 19, 2026Hired Nicola for a company fundraising event, he was professional straight to the point and sounded amazing. He is extremely talented, played some request that we had for certain songs that not everybody can play. He was on time, honestly, even an hour ahead of time and Reliable thank you so much.

February 23, 2026Unfortunately the performer got a flat tire and arrived over an hour late to the event. I completely understand that things happen, however it is how you react from these situations. The musician shows up late with a defensive unprofessional attitude.
He had interrupted my conversation with the hotel manager and bar manager and began complaining about the hotel in front of the hotel manager.
We did have to pivot with the performance venue due to weather that night and he began to accusatory point fingers and blaming me on the change infront of numerous people including pointing his finger at me.
I originally booked the performer from 6-9 PM. Due to him showing up over an hour late he performed from 7:30 - 8:50 PM and approached me at 8:50 PM (interrupting another conversation I was having with the host) while tapping his watch showing it is the end time of 9 PM.
The performer had also called numerous times encouraging booking him directly and not going through gigsalad. I was glad I booked through gigsalad as a sense of security. I would not book this performer again.

Band setup goes like this:
1 musician - Lead Guitar over backing tracks.
2 musicians - Lead and Rhythm acoustic or amplified.
3 musicians - Lead, Rhythm then Bass guitar or Percussion.
4 musicians - Lead, Rhythm, Bass and Percussion.
Full Band (5 - 7) to Big Band (7 and up) includes all listed instruments, plus clients specific choice.
Gypsy Tribe is a Rumba Flamenco/Jazz Fusion band based in the Bay Area of California though we regularly travel nationaly and overseas. Together with a sponsorship from Godin Guitar and fantastic bandmates, a vast catalog of songs and multi-instrument players and singers even DJ's, we can bring just about any type of feeling to the music we create. Just let us know how many musicians and performers you would like, 1 or 20. WE WILL PROVIDE! We WANT to make our clients happy, so pride ourselves on being conscious, courteous, respectful and upstanding in all aspects of our business and music. You like a song or a style, tell us and we will play it FOR YOU with everything we've got. And we've got it! I promise 😉. Our calendars fill up quickly so make sure to book while we're available! Lights and stage available on demand for additional fee. DJ and performers available together or separately. All payments to be made either as half deposit and half after performance, or full payment day of before performance. We never no-show and never finish without a happy client. We will provide all sound and equipment for musical performance ONLY! Lights, staging and effects (fog machine, decoration, ambiance, etc..) are additional. No refunds of deposits for cancellations or rescheduling by client. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason. We will provide all sound necessary equipment free with booking. Specialty stage props (stages, lighting, FX, fog, etc..) are available for an extra fee. We will always need access to electricity for equipment. please be mindful of electricity and water.
