The first song I ever learned to sing was "Greatest Love of All" by Whitney Houston because it was my mother's favorite song. The first piece of art I ever purchased was a cassette tape by Sade at 7yrs old. The first instrument I learned to play was a recorder at 8yrs old. The first music artist I ever fell in love with was Toni Braxton at 10 yrs old. My very 1st solo was on violin at 10yrs old. The very 1st song I ever wrote was a Rap song at 12yrs old. I began performing at church, in the community and at school at 13yrs old. I fell in love with poetry and literature during an English class my senior year of high school. I started painting and creating spiritual amulets, symbols, and art pieces as a young adult. It’s quite simple really–I am an artist.
