We offer a quality performance and strive to represent diversity and excellence.
About
Girl Gang Brass Band supports diversity by representing minorities not only in society, but in the music space and most importantly the brass band genre.
We actively seek to add musicians to our band who are women of color, and from a variety of socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds. We support love in all forms, and stands against violence and discrimination for both our audience and our band mates.
Our band chooses to collaborate first with groups with the same philosophies and representation amongst their band members, composers, and staff.
Girl Gang Brass Band not only has beliefs, but stands in solidarity at our performances and social rights demonstrations. We hope to bring our unique lived experiences and perspectives to our audiences through our music.
