We begin with the moment you want your guests to remember: a polished processional, a soulful cocktail hour, a surprise entrance, a respectful musical tribute, a packed reception, or a New Orleans second line that closes the celebration with movement and joy.

Truth Be Told Brass Band is our owned New Orleans brass-band experience. The usual booking lineup is six musicians—trumpet, saxophone, trombone, snare drum, bass drum, and tuba. A second trombone expands the band to the full seven-piece lineup. Formal black-and-white and coordinated casual presentations are quoted separately according to the event.

Symphonic Soul is our flexible smooth-jazz, instrumental R&B, and soul ensemble. The format may use backing tracks, a DJ, live rhythm section, or another event-specific configuration; the exact lineup is confirmed in writing.

Solo and partner music may include saxophone, trumpet, violin, jazz trio or quartet, and a string trio or quartet when the responsible performers, availability, and scope are confirmed.

DJ and hybrid entertainment are custom-built. A full DJ/MC service, DJ with live sax or horns, and Corey's managed-playlist/live-sax service are different products. Announcements, reception direction, sound, lighting, and live-performance time are included only when the written quote says so.

Second lines and cultural enhancements may include Zulu Tramps, Grand Marshals, Baby Dolls, or Mardi Gras Indians through verified independent performers. Route, permit, police escort, travel, waiting time, transportation, and cultural-performer quantities are confirmed and priced separately unless specifically included.

You receive a written scope showing the performance format, timing, attire, major logistics, and next booking step. We coordinate directly with your planner or venue when that coordination is part of the agreement.

C Hosey Productions is an owner-led New Orleans entertainment and event-production company. C. Hosey is a working saxophonist, music educator, bandleader, and creative director who understands both the music and the practical details that make an event feel effortless to the client.

Our work ranges from intimate ceremony and cocktail-hour music to formal brass-band features, corporate hospitality, wedding receptions, memorials, private celebrations, and route-based second lines. Truth Be Told Brass Band and Symphonic Soul are owned C Hosey Productions ensembles. Other soloists, string and jazz musicians, DJs, cultural performers, and supporting vendors are independent partners whose availability and responsibilities are confirmed for each engagement.

The goal is simple: create a musical moment that feels personal, arrives prepared, fits the room, and gives your guests something genuine to remember.

Every quote identifies the exact performance format, lineup, time, attire, travel, and production included.

Portable brass-band appearances often require no sound reinforcement. Stage performances, DJ/hybrid formats, ceremonies, and larger or acoustically demanding rooms are production-scoped after venue and timeline review. Sound, uplighting, performance lighting, microphones, a technician, and other equipment are not assumed unless listed in writing.

For a moving second line, please provide the intended starting point, ending point, date, and timing. Permit, police escort, route coordination, cultural performers, umbrellas/handkerchiefs, waiting time, transportation, parking, tolls, and travel are separate unless the quote specifically includes them.

Outdoor performances require a safe, weather-protected plan when instruments or sound equipment are involved. Custom songs or arrangements require advance confirmation and may add preparation, rehearsal, or arranger cost.
