Gingersnap is a Mermaid from South Central PA who travels out to events all over the Mid-Atlantic region. She has performed at events of all sizes, from Birthday parties to ren faires! For safety around small guppies, she is a certified PADI advanced mermaid with all child clearances plus First Aid/CPR. She carries professional performers insurance. She offers activities for on land or in water.
She sometimes morphs into her fairy or pirate form for events as requested. Each character come with different activity options.

Gingersnap can appear in mermaid, fairy, pirate, Winter Fairy, or Christmas Elf form. She can also be hired as a strolling flow artist who performs with LED poi, silks, contact poi, and dance ribbons.

Gingersnap is a professional entertainer and actress who is available as either a Mermaid, Fairy, Pirate, Elf, Bubble entertainer, or flow artist. For pool events, and general safety, she is a certified PADI advanced mermaid with all child clearances plus First Aid/CPR. She has over a decade of experience acting and performing at events on land and in water, and will work with you to choose the best activities she can provide for your event. Based near Gettysburg PA, but willing to travel to surrounding states.
She is fully insured through Specialty Insurance Agency, and can ensure you will be happy to have her at your event!
Experienced in indoor or outdoor events weather permitting. I can bring a 6x6 or 10x10 popup canopy for outdoor events.
***For the mermaid lagoon with a pool, I will need a space to fit my canopy plus the 7x7 blowup pool, about 15x15 feet total. I will also need access to water and electric to fill it, and the water source must be able to reach over into where the pool will be staying for the event.
*For Flow parties with my LED clamshell for scenery, I will need access to electric for my air pump.
For bubbles: This can be done indoors or outdoors.
Indoors: must have a big, open space at least 12x12 with no vents or air flow coming across the performance area. I do have a rug I put down to protect floors.
Outdoors: must have a big, open space over grass or ground that is NOT pavement.

I prefer an area of at least 8x8 feet. For pools, I can perform at any depth. Pools must have a lifeguard on duty if a public event. For in-pool events,I will also need to bring an assistant along.
for bubbles, I need at least a 12x12 foot space that is not under any vents, and no air flowing through the performance area.
For flow arts, or ribbon dancing as a fairy, I need ceiling to be at least 10 feet high.
