Blind Ambition is a classic rock duo established by musicians Geoff Hewitt & Darren Nunez. Already an accomplished solo performer in his own right, Geoff has played gigs for Disney, Universal, The Radisson Resort, and Holiday Inn. Eager to try a new project, Geoff enlisted the help of his longtime friend and fellow musician, Darren Nunez. The combination of Geoff's fluid guitar playing, coupled with the duo's seamless two part harmonies makes for a very memorable night of music. The band covers a huge repertoire of music, including favorites by the Beatles, Eagles, Buffett, Tom Petty, etc. And with the use of subtle bass and drum sequencing, these boys can rock the house like a full band!

February 14, 2025We went to see this band on a Friday. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised how good they are. They work well together. Harmonies great, knowledge of music great and interaction with people great. So we thought they were GREAT. 😆😆
We hired them to come to our house for our Super Bowl party. They were punctual and professional. They took song requests from our guests. Everyone loved them. We will definitely be calling on them again.

When you book Geoff and Darren, you will get at least 2 to 3 hours of high energy live music, with lots of audience interaction. We bring along set lists which we distribute to the audience, and always encourage lots of requests. We cover everything from classic two part harmony bands like The Beatles and Eagles, to newer stuff from Matchbox 20, Jason Mraz, Kings of Leon, etcetera.

He has over 20 years of performing experience in the music business.
His incredible memory for music and large repertoire have quickly made him a favorite on the local music scene.
Eager for a new musical project, Geoff enlisted the help of his longtime friend and extraordinary vocalist, Darren Nunez. Equally skilled, Darren honed his vocal chops at Hartwick college in upstate New York.
There, he received classical training, and appeared in stage productions of City of Angels and Into the Woods. Aside from this, Darren is also a longtime employee of the Walt Disney company, and has a special gift for making people happy. This terrific combination of Geoff's fluid guitarwork and the pair's incredible two part vocals make for a wonderful evening of entertainment. They also have a remarkable ability to connect with an audience, and always honor requests. Just watch their onstage chemistry, and you will see how much these two gentlemen love their work! BLIND AMBITION cover a huge repertoire of music, including close harmony songs from the Beatles, Eagles, Jimmy Buffett, and Tom Petty.
