Memphis is where I really got my musical chops from. I played in a lot of bands down there, but then I came back to New York. Here in the early 80s I was playing all the time. With kinky Friedman with little Mike and the tornadoes, with Albert King, Bo Diddley, Hubert Sumlin. Too many to mention here, but I must mention Sleepy La beef. Touring with him was such a gas.
