After you request a quote, I will respond asking for details regarding your special day. This includes the location, date, whether or not you plan to include me in a rehearsal prior to the ceremony, the number of guests you have invited, and any additional requests you have for me. After we have clarified the details, I will advise you the set price.
If you agree, I will provide you an agreement via email for you to sign that outlines the details we have discussed prior. I ask we talk in person or over the phone beforehand so we can ensure your wedding is as flawless as we can make it. You will need to let me know if you intend to write your own vows or would like me to write them for you. I will arrive 30 minutes early professionally dressed and will attempt to coordinate my shirt and tie to your wedding colors if desired. If you wish to have a more casual event, specify what you would like me to wear and I will meet your expectations.
I will conduct the ceremony and mail the paperwork into your local Recorder's office. I will send you a notarized, gold sealed marriage certificate for you to frame if you wish along with a copy of the ceremony and the marriage license.
Any and all special requests can be fit into the ceremony as I am flexible and will make sure the ceremony is conducted as you wish it to be.
I live in Manchester, IA and cover a 90 mile radius. My full time career is in law enforcement and I also serve my community as a substitute teacher for our school district. I began performing weddings in 2020 as a favor to a family member taking the next step. I quickly found I had a passion for public speaking and was encouraged to continue performing weddings. In an effort to provide you the best experience I can, I serve as a notary public and will provide you a notarized, authentic marriage certificate as a souvenir of your big day. Larger weddings can take advantage of my sound equipment included in the basic package so those family members in the back can hear that pivotal "I do."
