I will arrive to your event at least one hour prior to the performance. I will customize a song list to your satisfaction and can add extra music on the spot. Also, if there is a special song that you would like to hear for your event you just have to request it with enough time to be prepared to play it at your event.

I perform with pre-recorded backing tracks to accompany my performance. Last but not least, I will arrive professionally dressed according to the ocassion or as requested.

is Austin’s hottest saxophonist and Latin Singer sensation!!! He is the choice for all events, weddings, cocktail hours, corporate-private events and a RS Berkeley instruments endorser artist.

He is well known for its professionalism on and off the stage. All performances come with an attention to detail and when performing as a soloist, he simply shines on the stage. Every performance brings excellent music, and a high quality, well-rounded sound. He puts a signature stamp on every performance.

His journey began in Puerto Rico, where he was born. Percussion instruments were an early inspiration, as a young man he learned rhythms in the Puerto Rican and Cuban tradition. He turned to the saxophone at the age of 12 and grew up listening to a variety of music, the earliest of which included: Afro-Caribbean, European and jazz.

He has performed with such notables groups such as The Temptations, The Four Tops, Jimmy Smith and Vital Information, (past Journey drummer) Jose Alberto “El Canario”, Oscar de Leon, Tito Nieves, and Cano Estremera among several others.

After playing for a while with local salsa and jazz bands he decided to look for different horizons and joined the US Army band, where he served for over 20 years and played all over the world including South Korea, Japan and many other countries. After retiring from the US Army he decided to move to Houston, Texas. He has since moved to the Austin, Texas area and has made it home.

He has gone solo, playing jazz (smooth), ballads, and Latin music with alto, tenor, and soprano sax. He also can make your Latin party a success because he can sing as well. He is the ideal soloists for any type of event, including your wedding, anniversary, birthday and cocktail hour.

I have my own equipment for small places and/or large places. The client does not have to worry about anything.
