I hired Carey for my Halloween party and she was the talk of the night...everyone loved her and it made the evening much more memorable. I will definitely have her back for future events!
Calley has been Renegade Craft's tarot reader for events across the country and she's always so wonderful! She is thoughtful, communicative, and easy-going. Everyone looks forward to seeing her, from our staff to attendees. I recommend her highly!
Calley was a wonderful and unique addition to the final day celebration of a program that empowers women to manage the health of their energy body. Everyone loves a bit of mystical insight and
Calley gave brief, thoughtful, readings for each person.
Calley did readings on week nights at our bar. She came in with a variety of prices for different types of readings which made her very accesable to many customers. On days that were typically slow, having Calley there to do readings brought in more business. She had a great energy, was warm but professional and was able to adjust to the space quickly which was really important to us. Come back soon Calley!

What to Expect
I can read tarot cards for up to 8 hours at a time. My readings at parties and special events are typically 10 minutes long. Typically, I ask players if they have a question so I’m able to create a layout for their reading. Otherwise, I use the standard 10 card Celtic Cross tarot spread, and draw additional cards if needed. The Celtic Cross spread is my go-to because it tells a person’s past, present, future, and all the juicy details in between.
I use an assortment of card decks and will choose the best deck for the event. If an event planner would like a specific deck to be used at the event, I will do my best to acquire it (if I don’t have it already! I’m an avid card collector!) before the event.
Candles, a table cloth and crystals can create an amazing ambiance! If you do not have these items on hand, I’m happy to bring along props.
Sometimes, a person who sits down with me may want more than a 10 minute reading. In those instances, I can give out my card for an extended reading beyond the party later.
I also offer gift card packages for an additional cost if you would like to gift 30 minute readings to your guests.
Hi! My name is Calley. I’m the founder of Extraordinary Tarot, a fun and thought-provoking approach to tarot. I’m so happy you are taking a look at my profile and want to connect!
I’ve been reading tarot cards since I was a kid. I found my first deck in my mom’s closet and have been using tarot to explore different realities since.
Now, over ten years later, tarot is my business and I bring my cards to corporate events, trade shows, craft fairs, private parties, bars and resturaunts, in the greater NYC area and across the country. I’m a staple at Renegade Craft Fairs and at a beloved Bushwick bar, Pearl’s Social Club, where we do monthly Tiki Tarot Nights.
I’m originally from Columbus, OH. I went to school to be a writer, and have a BA in Ficiton Writing from Columbia College Chicago. I lived in Chicago for 4 years and moved to New York a year ago to pursue my tarot business and embrace NYC’s expansive publishing and entertainment industry! I love communication and believe in the power of story beyond words on a page, and that philosophy has carried over into my tarot business — it’s a huge part of who I am and what my practice is all about.
Additional Booking Notes
Please allow for soft lighting so that guests can see the cards! I can bring candles if needed.
Tarot is best when played in a place away from excess noise. If a DJ or band will be present, consider hosting your reader in a separate room or have tarot before or after any musical performances.
A small table (at the very least 2’x2’) and two chairs is perfect for tarot! You may want to have it at a larger table so that other people can gather around and listen in on the reading.
