Overview
I will provide experienced, tasteful drumming for studio recording or live performance for a wide variety of styles and am flexible to suit your desires. I am punctual, reliable, reasonable, and competitively priced.
I have played on professional recordings, and numerous live settings with a gigging jazz quartet, jazz combos and big bands, rock and gospel groups, and many others. I have recorded with and without a click track, and have performed live with and without one as well. One of my recorded albums is an entire album of drum solos meant to tell the story of the Bible!
Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to playing for you!

October 2, 2023Excellent drummer!
Chad was great--on time for the event and extremely flexible in a non-traditional venue and met the need for our Beat Breast Cancer rally perfectly. Would definitely book with him again when I have an occasion!

About
I have been playing the drums and percussion since 1996, and have played with musicians each place I have lived: Pennsylvania, Indiana, North Carolina, and New York. This has included nearly 10 years of playing with multiple jazz combos and big bands (playing swing, bebop, blues, Latin, funk, and many other styles), and even a dedicated jazz quartet (Blue Lunar Quartet: check out our Facebook page for samples!) which practiced and gigged.
I have also played in several rock and gospel settings, including several churches; at one very large church, I played live with a click track and with a band, choir, and full orchestra for about 3-4 years. Additionally, my playing can be heard on a few professional recordings. My personal study of the instrument has included in-depth practice of rhythmic concepts from Africa, Latin America, and India.
I am currently a professor of mathematics at Niagara University in Lewiston, NY.
Additional booking notes
An area large enough to fit my instrument (or parts of it) is all I require.
