October 26, 2024I tried to work with this young lady to give her the business because she’s a small business owner very unprofessional very uncommunicative always says that she’s gonna call back doesn’t call back. Doesn’t keep her time. This is very very important to me so good luck in the real world because she wouldn’t get any type of referrals for me. I didn’t even get a chance to work with them. The communication alone turned me off.

May 2, 2024Firstly, I tried on 2 occasions to contact Josie and provide my feedback directly to Josie to avoid writing a negative review. Background: I planned for over a year for my 60th Bday bash. We hired Josie's server and bartender for our event. 1) Parking was never to be provided, and yet, the bartender called to say she couldn't find parking...complained about, etc. I did not need this stress 40 min prior to my party. My husband despite having 100 things to do, ran out, circled around, found parking for our car so to offer the bartender our rented spot. Her response...thank you I already found a spot. Prior to my party I reviewed our needs with Josie; old fashions were high on the list. We provided all condiments, ice booze, but the bartender was to have their basic tools. She did not have a bottle opener or a zester. I provided her with a zester and a peeler for orange, lemon, lime zest for drinks. She had no idea how to use the zester or peeler to get a slice of orange zest. I had to tell her what was in an old fashion. My guests complained that she used a shaker to mix a gin & tonic!!! deflating the tonic bubble. She also informed me this was her 3rd job of the day and she had been up since 5 am...very reassuring info when wanting to pull off a great party.
She clearly was not a bartender and perhaps would have made a great server. Especially since Josie's server was busy on her phone and not very proactive about replenishing food, and answering our buzzer which were the 2 jobs I stressed. In fact some of my guests took to throwing stones at our window since she was not answering the buzzer. All and all a very disappointed in Josie's staffing services and I will not be using Josie in the future.

I want to address some points mentioned in your review. I was unaware of any issues until nearly two weeks after the event. Had you brought these concerns to my attention during the event, I would have taken immediate action to rectify the situation to ensure your satisfaction. I was called by my bartender because when she asked about parking your reply was, Josie should’ve known; this was not the best answer to give someone that was simply asking for better direction.
However, I respectfully disagree with the assertion regarding the guests resorting to throwing stones at your window. Such an exaggeration does not align with the overall tone and nature of the event and I’m sure they would be upset if they read this. I want to understand your disappointment and frustration, and I sincerely hope you find the level of service you seek elsewhere in the future. As a small business owner, I value each client's feedback and continuously strive to improve our services. Please note that when writing untruthful lies you are ruining someone livelihood.
You kept my staff there all night, I did not get not one call and from what I understand you went to bed early for undisclosed reasons and your husband tipped my staff pretty good and yet you were not pleased with services. I hope you don’t try to ruin another business.
