What a vibe!

I hired Erik to play at our friend’s birthday party, and he and his band brought it!
They played a bunch of original music and some really tasteful renditions of some classic rock and bluegrass tunes, and everyone at the party has been just raving about them.
Erik was very easy to work with, arrived on time, communicated well, and he and his band were so fun and full of personality.
I will definitely be booking them again!

Hired as: Bluegrass Band

About

Erik Bergeson is a Chicago-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, bandleader, and all-round performer, with a smile you can hear in every song. He performs solo, as well as with his traveling band, Bergie & The Magic Bag. He grew up on classic rock, before later falling in love with jazz, folk, and bluegrass -- all of which and more he integrates into his songwriting and performance repertoire. As a theatre performance major at the University of Wisconsin - Madison (2018) he learned not only how to command a stage and capture an audience's attention, but how to bring them in and make them a part of the performance -- to get them in on the joke, as it were. Erik's favorite things in this world are traveling around, making new friends, and singing for his dinner! Let's help him do what he loves.

Additional booking notes

Erik provides his own audio equipment for most performances! If you have a particularly large venue, or your own PA system you prefer to use, that's a-okay as well.
