January 21, 2021The Best Live Performance Ever!
Guillermo was the live guitarist we hired to play jazz and gospel for my husband's 50th Birthday surprise dinner. His performance was second to none, and my husband's was pleased beyond words - he had the "musician's face" the entire time Guillermo was playing! Guillermo was incredibly talented and delighted all my guests with his mastery on many different music styles. From Bossa-Nova, Flamenco, Pop, Spanish/English, Bulerias.. etc.. Guillermo Paolisso is a self-taught Argentine musician, composer and producer. He has been based in the US since 2016, and is considered an important ambassador of South American musical culture by The American Guild of Music Artists.
In recent years, he performed at a variety of renown venues around the country including the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, the Adler Planetarium, Navy Pier, Builder’s Building, Garfield Park Conservatory, Waldorf Astoria, The Drake, Sheraton Grand Chicago, Hilton Hotel, Marriott Hotel, Radisson Blu Aqua, The Langham, Soho House, Chicago Athletic Association, City Winery, Instituto Cervantes, University of Illinois in Chicago, University of Indiana, and Illinois State University. Guillermo Paolisso has brought his music to Illinois, California, Florida, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin and Iowa. Internationally, he played as a guitarist in Italy and Argentina with other artists.
Since 2017, he has worked with his company Guillermo Paolisso Music in organizing and producing live music shows for weddings and corporate events. Some clients include: Facebook / Instagram, T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, Xfinity, Rick Bayless, Argentine Consulate of Chicago, Legal Marketing Association, IES Abroad, Women’s Council of Realtors, and the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities.
Currently, Guillermo can be found composing and producing his first solo album that is being recorded in the US, Argentina, Brazil and Spain with acclaimed guests. He continues to produce live music shows for private events, weddings and corporate events.
