What to expect
Make your event unforgettable with a top-rated musician who delivers a fun, dynamic performance with more flair than just a solo singer-guitarist. Eric combines live vocal and guitar skills with professionally recorded backing tracks (not loops or repetitive beats) to deliver a full-band sound. Backed by decades of experience, every performance delivers a dynamic live energy and personality at the perfect volume, but without the cost, space and hassle of a full band.
What kind of music?
Rock/Folk/Top 40/Blues/Country hits from the 60s to today. From acoustic guitar melodies that set the perfect mood to classic electric guitar hits that will get the party started, I bring it all. My diverse repertoire includes acoustic guitar songs from artists like Jimmy Buffet, Avett Brothers, Jack Johnson, Neil Diamond, Otis Redding, Van Morrison, and Eric Clapton, as well as electric guitar hits from artists like Tom Petty, Billy Joel, Dire Straits, Foo Fighters, Chuck Berry, The Rolling Stones, and many more! Every show is sure to have something for everyone. Want to rock it up a bit or keep it more laid-back? No problem! Each show can be tailored to fit the venue and the audience. Check out my profile to see a representative song list.
Why hire you instead of one of the many other performers?
Good question! I am Newer to "Gig Salad" (hence the lower number of reviews than some of the other performers that have been with "Gig Salad" for many years) but have over 3 decades of professional experience performing thousands of shows as a solo performer and as singer/lead guitarist with various bands across the nation. I have played venues ranging from backyards and bars to bigger stages as a member of groups that have opened for nationally recognized artists. I also write and record and am currently working on a new album due out the end of 2025. To put it simply, I've had the pleasure of performing and honing my skills over many years for many people in many situations.
Sounds great, but what do clients have to say?
Clients have let me know that they are impressed with the professionalism, personality and talent that I bring to every performance (aw shucks), and pleasantly surprised with the friendliness, responsiveness and coordination that I provide before and during the event. They have given me the highest ratings for the sound, the song list and of course the vocal and guitar abilities. They also appreciate the unique and diverse sounds of the backing track approach, which delivers a full band sound at the perfect volume and in a small space and at a small cost.
Answers to frequently asked questions….
I have state-of-the-art professional equipment including a Bose line array sound system, which sounds awesome in intimate spaces with just a few dozen guests as well as larger venues of up to 500 partiers. The only thing needed is one standard 120-volt 60 cycle outlet (a common wall plug), at least a 5 Ft X 5 Ft space to perform, and people who like music and having fun. Whether your event takes place inside or out, day or night, I have you covered. I am fully insured and can designate your organization as a certificate holder and name additional insureds as necessary. Cash, checks, money orders, credit cards and electronic payment options such as Venmo accepted.
Thanks!

About
Eric started his musical path in 5th grade with a clarinet and a dream, but could never figure out how to plug the damn thing in, so switched to guitar shortly thereafter. He has pursued his musical career since then, and over the last 3 decades has performed and recorded with numerous cover bands and original artists, opened for national artists such as Vince Neil of Motley Crue and Edgar Winter, and developed a unique musical personality in the process.
The "One Man Band" project falls between an acoustic guitarist/singer and full amplified bands, The performances offer a little more oomph than just a single guitar player that sings, but without the personnel, equipment, space, and lack of volume control inherent with a full amplified band. By utilizing digital backing tracks and state of the art equipment, along with his unique guitar and vocal style, Eric delivers a great sounding, fun show that has the best elements of a live performance, recorded music and maybe just a touch of karaoke. All in a package that is compact, and affordable!
Additional booking notes
Only thing needed is a standard 120 Volt outlet, and a 5 x 5 space to perform in. I have lights for night gigs, a tent for outdoor performances, and all the equipment for any situation.

Influences and inspiration
My musical influences range from AC/DC to Bach, and everything in between. I cut my professional musical teeth playing cover bands in the 80s, so I am a big fan of rock from the 70s and 80s. But when people ask me what kind of music I like, the answer is "anything that makes me feel good". That could be rock, pop, funk, blues, broadway, country...you name it. I have been influenced by so many different groups, individual musicians, and genres, that I would find it hard to say that any subset was a bigger influence than another.
Setup requirements
Only thing needed is a standard 120 Volt outlet, and a 5 x 5 space to perform in. I have lights for night gigs, a tent for outdoor performances, and all the equipment for any situation.
