And David doesn’t simply stand in one place and play.
He reads the audience, takes requests, interacts with guests and knows when the occasion calls for quiet background music — and when it’s time to get people singing, dancing, clapping and having fun.

David’s love of the accordion began at age three. By twelve he was performing professionally, and at fourteen he had the opportunity to perform with legendary accordionist Myron Floren of The Lawrence Welk Show.
During college David joined the Dick Pillar Orchestra, beginning a 30-year career performing Polish music throughout the United States and in Poland.

Today, David combines that lifetime of musical experience with modern digital accordion technology to create something audiences often don't expect from a solo accordionist.

David’s Musical Journey
David’s love for the accordion began at the age of three, when he would listen to his older brother practice. With a toy accordion gifted by his father, David tried to imitate what he heard. By the age of six, he was taking formal lessons, and before long he was performing for local groups such as the 4-H Club. He went on to represent 4-H at the Eastern States Exposition for seven years, while also sharing his music at convalescent homes, VA hospitals, churches, and other community organizations.
By fourteen, David was already considered a professional musician, having played his first paid performance at twelve. That same year, he experienced the thrill of a lifetime: being invited to perform with the legendary Myron Floren, accordionist of The Lawrence Welk Show. David also performed alongside his teacher, Mike Brobrowsky, and together they became known as the “Dueling Accordionists,” entertaining audiences for many years at restaurants and local venues.
During his freshman year of college, David joined the Dick Pillar Orchestra, launching a thirty-year career performing Polish music with some of the nation’s finest musicians and band leaders. His career took him across the United States and to Poland, where he recorded seven albums before retiring from the polka band circuit.
Today, David performs primarily as a solo artist, delighting audiences of all ages with a wide variety of musical styles. His repertoire includes favorites by Billy Joel, George Benson, Nat King Cole, Bobby Vinton, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, and Sammy Davis Jr., as well as the Big Band sounds of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, and Duke Ellington. Whether it’s a toe-tapping swing tune, a romantic ballad, or a sing-along classic, David brings the timeless spirit of the “Great American Songbook” to life on his Roland Digital Accordion, which delivers the sound of a full live band—without the use of pre-recorded tracks.
