J.D.’s personal story is one of bravery and overcoming adversity.

At an early age, J.D. suffered the trauma of sexual abuse, violence, and early drug addiction, leading to incarceration. Always told by elders that he was poor and should never expect anything more, J.D. was not groomed or conditioned for success.

J.D. leveraged the world of Professional Selling to rebuild his self-image, finding the determination to become a successful businessman.

J.D. says, “Sales saved my life!” His new mission is to give back by speaking to any organization that values Effective Communication, Leadership and Personal Development.

J.D. is also passionate about reaching out and supporting those who suffer from sexual abuse, childhood violence and addiction. He opens up on topics such as
