Hi! I'm Emily, a Boston-based violinist and Berklee College of Music Alumni who performs for weddings, cocktail hours, parties, proposals, corporate events, memorials , special celebrations , and more!

My specialty is making the violin fit YOUR event. I perform everything from elegant classical music to modern pop, jazz, funk, fiddle, Klezmer, indie-folk, and more. Want a beautiful processional for your wedding? A romantic song for a proposal? Your favorite pop song at your party? I'm happy to work with you to create the right musical experience.

I also offer duos, trios, and full-band options, so your music can range from an intimate solo violin performance to a high-energy live band.

One of my favorite things about performing events is making the music feel uniquely yours. I've even learned special song requests for clients because sometimes the song you REALLY want is the one that makes the night.

Emily Sclar is originally from Freeport, Maine and is currently a student at Berklee College of Music, studying Music Therapy and Performance. She writes a wide variety of music that comes from a deep, raw place. She is fearless when it comes to putting her deeply emotional lyrics into the world, and with multiple singles already released, Emily continues to write and record music that is forever evolving. Emily has been playing violin since she was five years old and continues to explore her sound - a wide variety of styles breaking the presumed boundaries of a classical instrument. Emily believes that music is deeply connected to our hearts and souls with unbelievably great power in helping humans heal.

I provide all of my own equipment and handle my own setup and breakdown. My only requirement is access to a standard electrical outlet so I can plug in my amplifier.
