Emilena Grace

I typically play anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours. Typically just me with my acoustic guitar, keyboard, and the use of some backing tracks for a fuller sound.

My name is Emilena Filippelli, I am a second year undergraduate student at Providence College, where I am currently majoring in Management with a minor in Music Technology and Production.
Music is such an important part of my life and one of my biggest passions. I am a classically trained vocalist and currently study voice in college. In addition to this, I also play and study classical saxophone at Providence College, and participate in the Symphonic Wind band where I sit as principal alto. I have experience in piano, guitar, trumpet and oboe, and currently teach a variety of these instruments to young children at The Music Complex RI (Smithfield, RI).
I was fortunate enough to be able to participate in RIMEA's AllState Mixed Choirs throughout my youth, Solo & Ensemble vocal competitions, where I placed gold all six years, and Rhode Island National Association of Teacher's Singing (RINATS competition).
My biggest passion is writing, I love writing and producing music. I currently have three singles of my own on all major streaming platforms and hope to continue to produce and write throughout college and beyond with the knowledge I am gaining from my Music Technology and Production minor.
In addition to teaching music, I also perform across Rhode Island singing and playing guitar at various restaurants and gatherings. I love performing, and I have been doing it for over ten years!
