Hello! I'm new here on Gig Salad, but I've been a professional musician for over 10 years.
I perform cover songs from the 1960’s to the present. I use a looping pedal to create a full “one-man-band” sound, with guitar, vocals, beatbox drums, bass, etc all created live.
I cover many popular artists, including The Beatles, Ed Sheeran, Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young, James Taylor, The Killers, Rolling Stones, John Mayer, and many others.
I have performed many shows in both the US and Europe/Asia (Ireland, Spain, Tenerife, Greece, Qatar, The Philippines).
I can provide acoustic/instrumental covers for background music, as well as more upbeat rock + dance music for energetic crowds.

We had an engagement party with 86 people for our son and his fiance. It was an outdoor event. Jamie was the highlight of the evening. He played so many fun party songs and even learned a few for our special event. Many people asked where I found him and how we possibly got someone THAT GOOD. Jamie, thank you for making our evening t the BEST!!!

Jamie Oh did a fantastic job providing entertainment for my son's 30th birthday party. I gave him a sampling of our musical tastes in advance, and he understood the assignment perfectly. I was very impressed by the full sound he generates on his own - more like a band than a solo performer, and his ability to cover a wide range of songs is impressive. Many guests, including musicians and even the bartender, commented on the excellence of his performance. He was a consummate professional. What to expect
I have my own Bose Line Array PA system (the tower-style speaker) and mixer, so I will set up the live sound system for the event. I play a wide mix of songs, tailoring the set to the particular audience.
I may typically start the evening with some more mellow acoustic songs, and then as the performance progresses use the looping pedal more to create beat-box drums and a backbeat for people to dance to.
I play a mix of very popular songs that the audience can sing along to, and use the looping pedal to add additional layers of guitar solos and vocal harmonies.
I can also take song requests, whether ahead of time and learn them before the performance, or on the spot if it is a familiar song.
